Valvetronic Designs G80/G82 Mid Pipes

Has anyone ordered/received/installed the mid pipe upgrade and if so, what are your thoughts on them? Are they worth the $1,900 and are you impressed with the sound? The are on my considering list, but waiting to learn more.

Any info appreciated and I know you can theoretically do your own with an exhaust chop but interested in the pre-made kit. Looking for things like CEL issues/quality/sound improvement.

Thanks if you have any info to offer.

Did you end up finding any info on this? I'm considering it too, it says you can always go back to OEM so I'm assuming it requires no cuts? Also worried about CEL my warranty is a must have for this car I'm car broke but the sound is so weak!

I ordered mine last month. Hopefully I'll get it by end of August!

Have they said what they've actually done with it? Is it an equal length that scrubs secondaries & both res's? It's irritating you can't find any details about exactly what it is

Never got more info on it. I looked at the PSI option as well and not a huge fan of the necessary cuts on that one, but that is also reversible with collar nuts I suppose. I have yet to see anything from anyone that actually bought and installed the Valvetronic mid pipe option. I am sure there are some out there.

By all means, let us know how it fits and sounds when you get it in place. I am not in a hurry, but the stock sound is something we all seem to agree on: way to quiet!

I haven't heard any details on it, but think it does exactly what you mentioned.

It doesnt matter what mid you go with the rear section has to be cut. Bmw makes the factory exhaust just like the f80 one piece. With the clamps supplied you can switch it back to the factory mid pipe. Also you shouldnt throw any cel as the secondary cats are not monitored by any sensors. The PSI video shows them switching out their mid pipe and going back to stock to show the difference in power on the dyno.
