MT gear shift vibration?

I did a quick test drive of a 6MT M4 and noticed that the gear shifter was vibrating when idling. Do owners of the car experience the same?

I don't have any vibration in my 2019 992.1 MT. When I went on a quick test drive of the M4 MT, I felt the gear lever vibrating and it was not all that comfortable. Its odd for it to be there sometimes and other times, not.

Just LOL at this thread. Has slight vibration but most if not all manuals do.

The 992.1, as with most Porsche manuals, is connected to the transmission via cables thus greatly reducing vibration.

The M4, and most all BMW manuals, is connected directly to the transmission via a rod assembly. You will feel vibration and feel the shifter move around due to its direct connection. BMW incorporates a lot of bushings and soft mounts to reduce NVH, but they can't dial all of it out.

I have this too. Totally normal because engine is high reving. Vibration in neutral is normal.
