Ethanol-free gas?

I presume it’d be best to run ethanol free gas if available? I found this site and it appears to be updated (though it’s v outdated). Could there be any danger to always running E0 gas?

There isn't much danger running ethanol free gas but there isn't a benefit either.

How did you come to that conclusion? Everyone loves ethanol. Even without a tune, your car will run better with it. I don't have a tune and add 5-10 gallons of E85 to every tank. No issues. Worst case you won't get quite enough fuel in the engine and you'll feel it cut power. Then you know to back off a few gallons of ethanol.

Right that’s what I’m saying. Ethanol is just corn juice, not gasoline. The engine will make the most power on gasoline I presume. I remember when they started adding ethanol to gas, cars had issues and were underperforming. Are these new engines designed to not care either way? What’s the manual say about ethanol gas?

Ethanol burns cooler and it is the single cheapest and best mod to make power in any car. I wouldn't recommend going over e20 without a tune but the more ethanol you run the more power you will make. Regular pump gas is about e10. I have ran a e60 tune and swapped out my fuel pump and used a flex fuel sensor that was tuned to regulate the fuel properly.

Here is an example of what the G80 is capable of on the E85:
