3rd M, 3rd BMW. Never owned a non-M, but that's my M.O. I save, and then buy the higher sports model that I want. I never start below and then long for the one above.
And that also makes me.....fortunate. I had an F82, and now an E93. Don't miss the F82 at all, but I knew I'd miss my E93. So I kept it. That V8 with the top down, no better mood changer for me.

I was leaning toward M340i and it certainly makes more sense with zero doubt. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I've wanted an M3 since I purchased my 330i in 2003. I had two M340i's bought at the end of last year and just couldn't pull the trigger b/c I'm old enough that it would essentially end the dream.
Wife pushed me over the edge to buy my dream car and I currently have a production number for an M3 Comp xDrive. It feels GREAT to give my E46 (80k miles) to my son. Edit: I wanted a 1M sooo badly in 2011 but my kids were 6 years old and the daycare money would have paid off the car in 2 years.

First M car, not first one I’ve dreamed of. Wanted an E46 in the worst way and never could shake it. Through years of American V8 manual muscle and dipping my toes in foreign (2004 Lexus IS300 manual)….and after 5 kids later and SUVs as my daily, it’s time to get back into auto cross/track time and figured I may as well take a hold of my dream before it’s no longer able to be a manual transmission ICE reality and have a weekend/track car.
2023 M3 6MT Daytona Beach blue coming my way (currently status 112 for BW24) and proud to call this my first BMW, first M and first true dream car. It also better not be my last because I’m still hoping for another American muscle 2-door when I no longer have young kids that may just need the backseat if I’m on a joy ride on a break from meetings and a kid needs a ride home unexpectedly. |

First M. Coming from an audi s4. Was looking at an rs5 and thought it was great but my dealer pissed me off with the over msrp BS when i have bought multiple cars from them.
So i went to look at the M3 - now I have an m3 cs which is incredible - so much so that I will also be getting the new m4cs as well. Sorta glad my audi dealership pissed me off looking back 😅

The '24 M4CX will be my first M car when it arrives this summer and only our second BMW. Our first bimmer was a X7 that my wife drove (recently sold) and it was a great family hauler. I really like the big aggressive face of the X7 and G8x, so I may be in the minority. I've been mostly a VAG fanboy (2 Porsches & several Audis) and still am. I want to drive fast and nimble cars all of the time as life is short. The M4CX will be my DD. Now I'm in the dreaded but exciting phase, again, of waiting for a car to arrive. Yes, first world problems!

This will be my first. At QC currently with my '23 G80 M3 Competition xDrive.
Almost bought an E46, but decided at that time to get a Corvette C6 Z06. Tried again to buy an M2 Competition, but was too late to order one and would have to wait for the G87. In the meantime I decided I liked the M3 sedan much better and signed up for an M3 January 10th 2022. Took until April 15th, 2023 just to get the allocation. But, I'm in the home stretch now and getting excited. Especially with a load of parts waiting to go on it I have had for a while since I was originally told I would have the car by August/September of 2022. |

Sixth BMW, Fifth M car. I loved the F8x gen. My first was the F82 6MT, F87 Comp 6MT, F87 Comp DCT, and then my current F80 DCT. I’ve loved them all.
My next will be delivered in October. Super excited.

First BMW for me!
Coming from a fully built ‘17 Q60 AWD (engine, transmission, turbos, suspension, 2 piece rotors, etc), along with a Stinger GT2 AWD, then a ‘15 991.1 GT3 with a full catless Fabspeed exhuast along with a ‘21 A91 Supra that was modded but not tuned, to a ‘21 G82 RWD Competition and now a ‘24 G82 xDrive Competition. At $100k, the xdrive G82 is the best car on the market. I’ve never had a car than can have such distinct personalities between comfort mode and full sport settings. The stock engine/stock turbo potential is insane. |

9 BMWs total and the G80 M3CS will be my forth M. I’ve had two e90 M3s both DCT and manual, then my current F80 M3. I still have my i8 which I cannot bring myself to sell.

First proper //M car, 12th BMW overall.
The car has completely exceeded my expectations. The addition of awd to the M3 allows the car to work for us as a daily. |

Yes it is my first M Car.
I did own e46 330i MT with sports & premium packages. G80 is the size of e39 M5, in fact 4 inches larger in width 🤔 |
