Decided to check it out in person at my local dealership and drove away in it. The nostrils are less offensive in person and they are growing on me. I do think some smaller grills would really make this one of the best looking M cars though. So far so good, base M4 with 6 speed manual. Can't wait to get it on track...

That's hilarious. Congrats. I actually don't hate the grille. I didn't like it and still think it photographs terribly, but I think the front end would be less awkward if they repositioned the lower side intakes more laterally.

Congrats! That might be one of the best 180s we have seen on here. So many blab on here about hating and never buying one when they're not even in the market. You sir put your money where your mouth is.

I think this will turn out to be a fun track day car with the 10 STAGE traction.

I'm not kidding, I was talking so much shit about this car before I saw it in person. The day I bought it I actually went to Chevy to buy a Camaro ZL1 1LE because I loved my previous SS 1LE. Long story short, American car dealers can be huge douches when they have one cool car to sell so I walked out. I started looking at used F80s and just told myself let's go to the dealer and see what it really looks like. No kidding, the car really does look better in person. I still think the front end isn't pretty by any means but it's good enough I walked away with the car. Also, the rest of the package can not be denied. The power and handling is undeniable and somehow with all the power the car hooks pretty well.

Was at the dealer for maintenance today, decided to check the new M3/M4 since the pictures don't do it justice. WOW, what a stunning car, honestly it looks nothing like the pictures, the proportions are way better in person and the thing just looks menacing. Next to a San Marino M4 of the F-gen, it instantly aged it... Haters definitely need to hop off the band-wagon, go check out the car and think for themselves. I for one will be looking for one when AWD comes around and have it as a daily.
