Are you getting the CSL trunk with the duckbill? I like the look, I’m just worried about fitment. That stuff never fits correctly.

Nah. I'm getting an OEM style one, so I can keep my carbon spoiler I got (duckbill style).

I'm not a huge fan of the "built-in" ducktail look. Plus it was a couple hundred cheaper getting it OEM style over CSL style. I'll keep you updated on fitment if you want?

I'm getting it from NW Carbon Haus. Who also is where I got my hood from, which I already have on, and can confirm it fits great. They stand by their products and guarantee fitment. So if it doesn't fit, they'll take it back. Kasey is a stand up guy. I'm actually gonna be at his booth for Bimmer Invasion!

I tried ordering my lights today and dealer said that it's going to be on backorder for like a month minimum for the outer lights specifically. The inner ones that go on the trunk are in stock in abundance however. Just in case people are curious.
On a side note, has anyone come across a GT-Style front grille that doesn't require the front bumper support Styrofoam to be trimmed?

Euro LCi tail light function. This is what it looks like if you added the wiring to the US cars (G83 already has the wire on the US cars). It separates the brake and turn signal. The euro tails, also have this amber turn signal, as the US cars, is just red.

Expert mode issue was a show stopper 1st round. Expert Mode required. (rooky 1st time)

TURN OFF WiFi - iOS device.

DISABLE CARPLAY - iOS settings (“Settings” > “General” > “CarPlay” > Select car > Disable “CarPlay”).
DISCONNECT iOS DEVICE IN iDRIVE SETTINGS. "Com" > “Mobile devices” > Select the device > “Disconnect device”).
OBD2 adapter to iPhone, limit distance to increase BW, bandwidth, (SPEED)
SETTINGS - WIFI, OBSERVE BU WI FI. SSID/PASSWORD is on the side of the OBD2 WIFI adapter to properly authenticate. WIFI connected if SSID/PASSWORD entered correctly.

Where are these fiber specs found. Link or it did not happen. There are varying figures reported here.

When at MCI the 1st laser diode stuff was in about 88. Fujitsu S405, V405 405mb/s 9 ch optics 1310nm. Measuring the rise/fall times of laser signatures, spectral width, dispersion, S/N ratio, frequency, ie 1310nm, 1550nm. DWDM etc.

I posted a few pages back. There is a flicker that can be coded out. I’d never heard about it with all of the people installing the OEM CSL tails, but other people are dealing with it. I coded mine. You literally go into Bimmer Utility and flip one switch from no to yes.
