Currently I still have the „wtf effect" when I see a pic or vid of the stock front... |

I actually think the frozen blue looks incredible on the M4. I can't believe I am typing this, but the black and frozen blue G82 M4 look awesome. And something about seeing this in action on track vs. standstill promo shots has me convinced this redesign - while it still wouldn't be how I would design it if it were up to me - can actually look pretty damn good.

Hate... hate... hate the large new grille... naked.
It looks okay split with a euro license plate. I have one on my 4-series M-sport and have had one on every euro vehicle I've owned in a state where a front plate wasn't required. Having lived in Germany for a time, I enjoy the look and it brings back memories. |

I guarantee that's NOT what I look like driving my CS at the track. Great video, great point, but I still think my CS looks very dated and I'm very bored of it.

Why? Is it suddenly better looking? No. the spy photos showed all the ugliness that the official release. So what happened, I suspect that all the BMW fanbois suddenly feel different because it's BMW official. In terms of sales, I'm sure it will do fine, there's enough nut swingers out there. Honestly I'm surprised that people that had an e9x m3 continued in the m3/4 range given the size. The g8x seems on par size wise with the e60. As for salesman, the money is in used cars anyway. |

I get that people dislike the new design, in the end everything is a taste question.
Primarly I also hated against that Grill....But I think it will look way better in person. And it's just a Grill...I love the rest of the car, imo it's absoloutely beautiful! So if this Grill will (what I don't think, i Frozen Dark Grey it matches pretty good imo) piss me really hard off I will buy an aftermarket Bumper, i'm sure there will be possibilites. A lot of People invest ton's of Money to "pretty up" their car, what would be wrong on doing it on this one? I personally liked it in the meantime. If people don't like it and don't want to invest money to change it, just don't buy it. BMW is trying new ways, let them...if they really fu**** that hard up they will see the selling numbers. |
