LOVE the exterior color, simply beautiful! With the correct combo of height, wheels and tint that might be the sexiest M3 ever…

Very nice after the paint correction even if pics weren't with a 'real' camera! Enjoy your ride!

I think my best post on there was my IMIV install in my wagon to be able to connect my iPod and Sirius radio. Remember those days? LOL. Quote:
Thank you! Looking forward to better weather and breaking out the real camera and tripod for some better photos. Plus...it's been fun actually driving it now that it's been broken in! |

Added a sticker.
I know, pretty lame. But this sticker has some special meanings for me. Some years ago, my wife and I did our honeymoon in Germany. Munich and other parts of Bavaria to be specific. One of our stops was the BMW Museum and we saw the Welt under construction. Or maybe planned, I forget. It wasn't there. But I loved the country, loved the area and the people and of course the roads and the cards. Fast forward many years and it's 2015 and I'm planning on ordering an F80 M3. Full stop, going to do Euro Delivery (inspired by the group that did 20 odd F8X Euro Deliveries when they first launched as well as a desire to return to Bavaria). Had the car spec'd: Individual San Marino Blue (well before the CS was out), working with BMW Individual on some interior touches, etc. BUT. I just couldn't fall in love with the F80. So I bought a 911 and that took a different turn. Fast forward again to 2019. Kids are older now, and we book a trip to go back to Germany. Including a trip to the Welt and the 'Ring. I booked a Taxi lap with Apex for their 4 bucket seat fully prepped F80. The trip was to be June 2020. LOL, so much for that. Finally 2023 the trip is rescheduled. Full visit to the Welt and BMW museum, followed a few days later of a trip to the 'Ring. This time with the kids too. We did sim laps, a Taxi lap in the M5 CS and I lapped in Apex's track prepped 230i. The wife wasn't the hugest fan but the kids and I....loved it. This sticker is from that trip, bought in person at the 'Ring gift shop. And while I think it's somewhat disingenuous to put a track sticker on a car where it hasn't driven on that track, I feel like the car's earned it. On that trip I decided to pull the trigger and sell my 997 Turbo S and order a G80. My kids and I (and even the wife, sorta) had so much fun at the 'Ring and were so impressed by the capabilities of the M5 and the 230 that it'll be etched in our minds forever (and on USB since we got the videos, lol). Both my kids know I don't put stickers on my car but both wanted to see the 'Ring on the car, and they both love it. It reminds me that I bought the car for all of us to enjoy, instead of me just driving my 911 by myself or on date nights with my wife. So, yeah. Small item. Big meaning. |

Next phase of mods complete:
Turner full coverage skid plate. ISweep 2000 brake pads. Gloss black air ducts (Ali Express) Bimecc 15f / 12.5r spacers. Loving all the mods but the turner plate pulls down on the underside of the front bumper to where you can see it from a distance. Not so happy with that. And with the Pirellis and 15mm front spacers, I am rubbing. Next up: Fender liner vent fin delete mesh Mill way lower control arm mono balls Eibach sport springs (front only) Also coming soon-ish MAED billet magnetic paddles Awron valve controller It’s coming along! Looking great! I've always liked your color combo.
It's subtle, but our cars always look better with spacers and a front end drop. To the untrained eye, nothing is different because it looks like the car should look from the factory, but it's juuuuust enough to complete the look. Once you get those Eibach springs in, it'll be perfect.

Selling a 997 Turbo S for a G80 M3 is really saying something positive about the new platform. Glad you could finally enjoy the ring with family & got to share that experience together. I want to put a Ring decal on my X3 M Competition too, no matter what other people say or tend to think...
