I would think it would be. I don't think the car will be a "stripper" (like my CS) because they make so much money off those packages and options. Likely part of a technology package that you need to add just to have satellite radio...

What a conundrum. I leased my 18 zcp m3 and it expires same time this new one is released. I’ve babied the car with the expectation I was going to keep it based on it being the last year of the f80 and early impressions of the g80 looking like shit- but, the car has been growing on me a little bit I can’t wait for the reveal.

I’d like to hang onto the f80 but I wouldn’t want to buy out the lease just to feel like I want the g80 later. Please reveal it!! She’s def looking thicc

If you do not need the 4 doors and can get a M2cs go for it. As for the 911 Turbo, go with an older Porsche if you want a 911. That would bring the price down.

None of them have any..... as in (Zero) manual transmission cars with 4 doors. If you love an automatic then you have plenty of options. I personally would never own an automatic, so the only competition at the moment is something like a Bronco with 4-cylinders, or waiting for the Blackwing CT5. Manual buyers will learn to "love" this look when they start shopping for a new car.

Actually, all the initial driving impressions pointed out how much better the G80 drove in comparison to F82 comp pack comparison drives. We might be thanking Alpha Romeo for making the G80 a much more engaging drive than the F80.

The looks are another matter and fairly subjective.

Both look good, but owning both - 1M is much smaller, the short body with the arches looks aggressive. The longer M2 looks good as well.

I'm enjoying these teaser photos and how we get better, more accurate views every few days. I love M3/4s, and I'm admittedly a fan boy. I had them add, except the E30. I also want this car to rock from a performance and aesthetic basis. I'm trying to be optimist, so I May be biased.

But, I think this thing is going to look amazing. The grills keep looking more balanced and smaller for some reason. Maybe it's the floating grill. I guess that was the plan from the release of the 4 concept that had the massive chrome grill with surround. I'm also in the camp where I'm transitioning from wanting the M3/4 to be really understated to wanting it to be more special. There not relatively cheap anymore. I'm sure many struggled to give up there blackberry with a keypad for an iPhone.

You have to wait another couple of months. Probably mid-September for the reveal.
