License Plate Wrap / Vinyl Sticker

I've seen that California has approved the use of vinyl printed license plates for the front of cars instead of using holes to mount a plate or a tow mount. Just wondering if anyone here has tried them on their G8x. Looking at the front of our bumper, I don't think there would be enough space?

I've been meaning to cut a piece of paper or cardboard to license plate size and see if there's a location without too many creases that might work for the plate wrap.

I also don't know if the parking sensors can be covered or if they need to be avoided.

Would love to hear if anyone has tried this!
