I was curious because I wasn’t informed of any movement for my order for two months until I contacted my CA and he just magically told me he got me an allocation right when I contacted him about an update. Makes me think that he had one available but was waiting for the most committed buyer to give it to. FWIW I got a production number 4/28. Tin foil hat theory for sure but it seems like a plausible left field case for my situation.

If you receive a VIN is it possible that you will get pushed or are you pretty much good to go?

I am seeing everyone waiting and I am skeptical of my status:

Week 19 here, waiting at the port for two weeks now. Once you get a vin it means the car is alive. You’re money at that point and in about ten days they should start production on your car. It moves pretty quickly, 3-5 days and your car is complete. Then the inevitable delays, but if you keep hope alive you keep your sanity! Keep an eye on the week builds two weeks behind you (23/4) and that’ll tell you where you are and, how quickly things move, or where there are delays.

Wow! Was a wk25 individual build but dealer confirmed it's been built, dispatched and enroute to the UK. Expected at dealer w/c 20th June. 🤞🏻

After exactly 8 months and 1 day since receiving my allocation (Oct 9th), I have moved to status 150 with a VIN.

BMW really sucked the excitement out of me!

I was week 24 the last I had heard from my CA. Genius told me my production date is June 20th. I've been 150 since May 31st. The 20th is week 25 the way I count, so I guess I'm back in the week 25 club. I'm ready for some progress already.

Yep I was a wk25er but dealer confirmed my individual frozen blue with laser lights is built and enroute to the uk with delivery expected next week!

Remember the build week is the week the car finishes production so a lot of you should hopefully see movement later this week and defo next week!

Your car should be finished in a matter of days and most certainly by weeks end. Getting dispatched and a train ride scheduled may take some time and then be prepared for a wait of up to a month at the port. But once you get your vin it means your car is alive!! Enjoy the journey.
