I placed an order for M3 TR/Silverstone full leather. I currently have the 836m Bi specced. But I really want to see TR M3 on 825 Silver. When its my allocation time, I may switch to that. But I can only find a few M4s with that combo and no M3. I almost want to spec that just because I don't see any also. And I like shiny wheels.

I agree, I would definitely prefer this over black wheels. Another option I would consider is getting the 826M but then have them powder coated in a lighter color. It looked very good in the pictures I've seen.

If you scroll back to page 1 or 2 of this tread you will see some nice pics. This was my exact original order and I hate black wheels to dead however when I saw the red one ( see my post) with the black wheels and Carbon package ...it was just wow. I had on my order even deleted the shadow lines to get the silver exhaust tips. I really like the combinaison of red body color and all the black accents. Original I would have Red, black ( side skirts , low en bumper etc... ) and Silver... it looks too heavy of a color combination .... |

TR is by far the best color for the M3. AR belongs on your grandmas Buick LeSabre!

For me, the silver wheels are a must on TR. The black wheels simply disappear. Not dissing the black, just personal preference.
When I spec my G80 in the not so distant future, I will draw inspiration from my favorite sedan of all time: imola e39 M5. It's a car I always wanted and could never afford. Now that I can afford it, I'm not willing to fork out $100k+ on a low mileage one because I haven't lost my mind. Realistically speaking, the closest equivalent on the market today is a TR G80 with a 6-spd, silver wheels and silver exhaust tips. This means I wouldn't be opting for a shadow trim or headlights. Granted, the e39 M5 factory wheels weren't technically silver. More like chrome-shadow, but close enough to where they looked silver. If there was an option for chrome grilles on the G80, I would opt for those too. I love the classic BMW styling where mostly everything was chrome. I will never get tired of it. |

Don't be ridiculous. The colors are not the same and the cars certainly aren't. You must not've seen the pics of AR in the sun. Is a Hellcat in Octane Red an grandma's car? How about a Maserati in Italian Red?

Took delivery a few days ago. Glad I went with fiona red. It really adds some spice to the interior.

Easy to justify if u don't like orange tint..I'd do Imola or Snapper Rocks…Our 430ixc is Imola and man it's gorgeous after a full wash.

Here are a few more parking lot photos. Photos hard to do it justice. With fiona red being a shade darker than Toronto red in person, I think it compliments the exterior color rather than being overwhelming. I am very happy with my choice.
Now….35% tint, light tint, or no tint? |
