Hey now, don't say that. Lol. Is it sad, it would not surprise me at this point?

BMW has pushed allocations by a week or two before. No one knows what is going to happen anymore.

It looks like they did push the car allocations. Unfortunately, they were very, very limited. No M3/M4 for us for July production, we got a few 8 series including an M8. And that was that. Just a few weeks away for the August production allocation (fingers crossed)

That may be the case, but did you ever receive an ACTUAL MY2022 allocation with a production number?
That the thing, I have not. So I sadly do expect to pay more for MY23, and I do expect the dealer to give me "same price" as MY22 (meaning the $3,700 increase yes, but keep the discount I had received) for when I do get the MY23 allocation. High hopes 🤷*♂️

I believe we've seen some European customers get allocations for Week 31 (August), so perhaps BMW is planning not to produce many M3's/M4's in July? The M3's make sense, as the line will be transitioning anyway for the 3-series LCI, though I'd expect the G82's/G83's to soldier on at roughly the same pace?

Then again, isn't July the big holiday month in Europe? They may scale the factories down...

Probably less output than usual since the factory had some assembly line changes (updated interior, at least on g80) and the line is already packed with 50th Jahre orders. Leaves few or no custom g80/g82 build slots

That's still awesome. I guess that means some people did get non-Jahre MY'23 allocations last week.

Would new allocations be necessary for BMW to start on existing allocations with production numbers that have been bumped to MY23? I'd assume not but maybe just an indication they are starting to schedule things.

Not trying to rain on the parade, but sounds more like you got moved up on the list, which is awesome, but sounds like you are waiting for a 23 MY production slot? ...unless they gave you a 23 MY production number?

My 22 MY production number is one that got pushed to 23 MY, it still shows as 22 MY in myBMW profile and from what I understand we have to wait for 23 MY allocations before it flips or they give me a new production number ...there still seems to be uncertainty on whether it will remain the same production number.

I think that is what might have happened as it shows as a 22. But to my understanding, if you have a production number it means you'll be slotted for the next allocation builds. The myBMW profile shows order received, rather than on a wait-list that is never ending. I never had a production number given to me until today

I had to a double take and research more, but anything can happen! I'm just happy I have something to go off rather than a CA telling me "Sorry, no allocations."
