The full color palette? Expansion of Individual color choice for the G8x
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Just been on BMW Individual Manufaktur Visualizer website and I noticed that the Individual color choice has been massively expended for the G81. This change affects only the G81 (no other M cars have as many color choices), which is very unusual. There are amazing new colors there –especially frozen ones– that I have never seen before. Frozen Preciosa Red (P9C), Frozen Tulum Blue (P98) and Frozen Purple (P9A) to name a few. It is unclear whether this is “official” because the webpage looks like it is in a draft state (i.e., the name is “BMW G81LCI_CP”, which is uncharacteristically long/technical for BMW, and colors are not always properly named or classified in the list). If the document is a draft, it seems possible that several of the colors on the list will disappear when the G81 page will be finalized/approved by BMW. Let’s hope this is not the case! I attached below PNGs (and at the bottom of the post, a PDF file) of the Visualizer webpage for posterity. Last edited by Asymmetrick; 07-03-2022 at 03:26 PM.. |

Wow no kidding. Enigmatic Black seems to be like the perfect option for those who seek a darker metallic black.
Aurora Diamond Green looks really really nice. |

Damn Frozen Tulum Blue looks EXACTLY like Atlantis, but Frozen... awesome choices. Maybe this is real as I still don't see LSB, Technoviolet, etc

I don't see why they wouldn't make this available, the cars are made on the same line. Also if you notice in the "G8x M3 / M4 Photos Official Threads (including BMW Individual colors)" thread there are some colors that don't show up on the visualizer for the G80 so maybe this selection is already available?

BMW removed the page about 1 week after I wrote my post. As mentioned earlier, I got the impression the page was in a draft state on BMW Visualizer and was only visible to the larger public by mistake.
The silver lining here is that this draft page revealed a number of amazing new paints (& their codes) that will become available in the near future. If I were to order a new G8x now, I would certainly try my luck and get my dealership/BMW to approve one of the more unique colors on the list for my new build. Frozen Preciosa Red (P9C), Frozen Tulum Blue (P98) and Frozen Purple (P9A) seem like awesome color for a new M3/M4. Hopefully, this list will be useful to early adopters of new BMW Individual colors. |

I saw this for a second too but now it’s gone. Great job capturing it!
I wish some of these were available. Some wild options for sure but even some less wild but interesting choices; Barcelona blue is a color I loved on the 8 series. I wish I could get it on the g80. Don’t mind me I’ll be googling half these colors for the next hour or so LOL |

Thanks! The new colors were only shown for a weekend during the summer and then removed by BMW. I think it provided us with an unexpected "preview" of new Individual colors to come in the BMW catalog. |
