Rear thighs don't look as meaty as the f80 or it could just be the camo. That's one of the sexiest things about the f80.

Maybe they'll pull an Alfa Romeo and use the tow hitch to mount front plates?

I do like the overall style of the wheel, but like the current car, it seems like they couldn't help themselves and overstyled the wheel too. That extra little flap looking spoke on the outer most part of the rim was not necessary and just gives it a busier look than necessary. Oh well, the era of simple and clean design is over.

Maybe they will look OK with the highlighter color in the spirit of making a statement. Not sure if they will go well with more discreet colors.
These are not "clean, classy and simple" times for the automotive industry. BMW was typically very conservative with wheels. I frankly am glad they finally stepped it up and are making wheels as aggressive as the cars.

Not that I've seen. Alfa did it exclusively using the tow hitch in the US (from the hundreds of vehicles I've seen on the road).

Plate

May have to keep the Euro plate because of the center grill section and add the tow hook plate like the pic. I sold the 1M but still have the plate.

Not a timeless look like the f80, but I like the wheels.

Oh boy, I am not sure which is worse.....the wheels or the front end. Perhaps the front end wouldnt be as bad if it didnt have a license plate across it or the radar bubble on lower left side. Geese. Maybe its me, but I am gonna wait on this thing to see if it really takes off or not.

I can see 10 years from now the value of these things being worthless as it will be known as the model no one wants after they come to their senses and change the front end 3 years from now.

Anyone have a picture of the front without that asymmetrical tumour on the lower right side?

I agree. Will it be deemed like a 996 in some respects?
