600 miles of fun driving back home. I'll drive for a year then re-eval.
Oh, and I'll admit not knowing how to work the gear selector to leave dealer....then in rush hour outside Seattle, and finally figuring out reverse. Reza was prepared to go over everything, but I said "nah, trial by fire, you're busy, ciao." That first 3 point turn in the mountains with cars approaching both ways was exciting and anxious.

Huge congrats Yama!! Your week 10 was just ahead of the factory stoppage. My week 11 finally got a VIN last week. Think about that though, my allocation was January 27 so must be similar to yours, and I am still months from it arriving. At least my CT4-V Blackwing 6MT is keeping me well occupied :-)

I also have Skyscraper + Tartufo, but I went Full on mine. It is a rich combination, some call it an old man version, I think of it more as a James Bond version. It will age well, IMO. I will not be lowering mine, and honestly don't understand why so many do. Then again, I am a truck guy, so suspension modifications go the other way in my head!!

I´ve been following this thread for the last year or so.
Especially after ordering my G82 Xdrive this thread helped me to get over the time until its built.
So I thought I give back and maybe help others like me :- )

Ordered her in November and just took the BMW Welt Exclusive Delivery last weekend.

I´m absolutely in love with this car and the color combo...

I’m still torn over Skyscraper / Fiona Red versus Portimao / Black and every time I look at y’all’s pics it makes the decision even harder! Beautiful cars!

I should of taken a picture yesterday, my friend came over to install our valve controllers he has a portimao M4 and I have a skyscraper.. next time

Truth be told, I went back n' forth between Skyscraper and Brooklyn in the beginning....thinking Skyscraper was a little on the bland side for a car like the M3. But after seeing the color in person and seeing how deep the color really is (not just another boring silver), then seeing how baby blue & washed out Brooklyn looks in the sun, I finally decided on Skyscraper for my pending M3.

I can definitely confirm that.
Have seen both in person. It´s of course a matter of taste, but skyscraper looks way better in my opinion.
Much more depth and richness in color. Looks different from every angle and in every lighting situation.
And I think it brings out all body lines perfectly which BG doesn´t...

Did the person doing the oof get the edge covered ? I was told on silver cars sometimes you can see the little plastic. Any more pics or advice. I’m getting the same color you have !
