A photo I took a while back when I parked next to a donington grey X3M - you can clearly see DG is more of warm tone grey/silver and SG is more of cool tone grey/silver

Great shot, MFW. I ordered my M4 sight unseen. That comparison photo is great. Skyscraper seems to have bluish undertones which I will love. Feel free to blast this thread with new photos

Thanks! Here is one under weird parking garage lighting (have 3 lights with different color temps above, probably 4000k/5000k/6000k). I posted this in the parking lot thread but I thought it's helpful to post here as well just in case anyone is deciding between colors. It definitely has this bluish undertone especially under artificial lighting/overcast weather.

Also there's some wired color fringing going on at the grill, probably too much computational photography from smartphones these days lol.

Thank you for posting this color comparing photo. I always wondered what these looked like together. Wish I had more dough so I could keep my Donington Gray X3 MC & add a SkyScraper Gray G80 M3 X-Drive next to it.

Picked up today .. Coolest thing was on way home thumbs up from a F80 and E46 M3’s.. Just needed to see a E9X and pretty perfect .. Love it!!

Beauty, congrats! My Skyscraper was set for week 11. Now, who knows, could add months to the process. I figured it would arrive in May, really no idea now. One thing for sure, I love Skyscraper! Feel free to keep posting photos of it

My preferred color. Still haven't seen this color in the flesh. But searching other model BMWs on the website for dealers' current inventory, clearly Brooklyn Gray is all over the place with other models! This makes me lean more towards SG

I finally saw SG in person on another car at my dealer. I was surprised it appeared as silver as it did. It was parked inside the showroom w lots of natural light, but to me looked much more silver than many photos make it out to be.

I had been thinking of changing to an Individual, but don't want to incur extra wait time. I'll keep SG on my order.
