I still see it as us that will be receiving our cars in the next month or so as being first to the grid. Not many have gotten cars yet at least on the forums so many will still be interested on our takes I hope. I know in my area it will be like seeing a new vette as the take rates aren't high for M3's around myself. |

This seems odd that it's still in this status unless they found something wrong with your car? My car finished the 31st and flew right through the quality check phase.

Mine is on day 12 of waiting at the port. I'm hoping it's just something for everyone where the updates haven't been making it to the site, otherwise this is going to be a pretty significant delay for all the cars that aren't in transit yet.

Maybe the Easter holidays had something to do with it in Europe? Hopefully it gets on a boat this week. |

Good to know. I was considering calling them to see if they had any knowledge as to when it might get on a boat. Guess I'll skip that call.

I asked my dealer to get me an updated date. I don't BMW Genius is going to be very helpful for us until it's actually on a boat. |

How do you know what's coming and where they are going?

Any of the ship tracking sites should be able to show you scheduled arrivals, but I like this one because it shows the ship type (vehicle carrier) right away https://www.fleetmon.com/ports/breme...6/?language=en
I also checked the schedules of Wallenius Wilhelmsen and one other carrier that goes to the east coast. |

I have the regular seats. I have seen multiple posts about the carbons delaying builds but it would seem odd a car would make it as far as yours without having them available in the first place?

Just for reference as well because I'm not sure how accurate the Genius and MyBMW site is after it leaves the factory but I was following my local dealers HEA build a while back and it was at the port for 3 to 4 weeks and then all of a sudden it jumped to at the dealership. It just sucks because if things are moving and we can't get an accurate track like in that situation were just stressing out for nothing lol.

Mine went super fast into, through production, onto a boat and in my opinion across the Atlantic and through to CA. It’s been at the VDC now for a week in Oxnard and it feels like an eternity. Was wondering if the carbon package is installed in EU or at VDC. If the latter, could be there a while. Cant wait any longer. Let’s gooo

I would say that every step on the online tracker is pretty accurate except for the last 2 steps - “in-transit” and “at dealership.” That’s my takeaway from the experience so far. |
