What's the build status of your car?

Here's a question for the group:

2 days ago my car switched its status from At Port to In Transit. I emailed my SA asking for an ETA to the dealership and he said that while his system showed the car as being loaded, it didn't yet say what boat the car was on.

Today I called Genius to see if they knew, and the kid who answered the phone said that on his systems the car still shows as being at port.

Here's the question: do SA's and Genius workers use the same system? Is there any reason why Genius's information might be out of date compared to the tracking website?

Genius is useless. Once you find out the ship names you can monitor progress various ways. Dont even bother asking Genius for detailed updates

I'm just assuming it's on a boat and the data is lagging behind.

I'm gonna shoot my SA an email in a few days and ask for the name of the boat; I'm assuming he'll have it by then.

Alright, I'm starting to become giddy again! Coming down the home stretch of Chesapeake Bay!

I'm with you man. I have my shipping quote from Chicago to Los Angeles ready to go 🤣 I also ordered an M5 that got to Oxnard Port last Friday and for some reason it's going to sit there until June 10!

Has anyone ever had the status on the website jump backwards a step? Mine said "in transit" and the dealer said it was on a ship scheduled to arrive a few days ago. Now the website status says it's at the port.

I've heard that the status switches back to At Port once it's been offloaded from the ship, then switches to In Transit again when it's on its way to the dealer.

Ok guys.... maybe this will help some of you guys that are showing in transit!!! Sooo my car showed in transit for 4 days with no information on ship or anything... finallly this morning got an update from GENIUS my car has been in transit since may 26 th due to arrive in ny port june 7 th which is in 4 days.... lol so guys dont go by what bmw tells u seems they are lagging bigtime in timelines!!!

Now can one of my crazy ship trackers tell me where the GARNET ACE currently is???
