Glad it’s fixed. Even if it does show up on a car fax it will be listed as “minor damage”. While the BMW dealer won’t report it her Insurance still might. I honestly don’t worry about that kinda stuff. We have insurance for a reason. I get people are afraid to turn it in for fear of rates going up but even if it was determined to be your fault our rates increase every 6 months anyway and they are limited to how much additional they can charge you. If your insurance provides accident forgiveness your rates won’t go up. I pay the extra $50 per 6 months for that piece of mind. Just my opinion…

I went out of pocket for similar damage when I got side swiped by a drunk driver who had trash insurance.
Thankfully I had ppf and there was no paint damage only ppf and some pdr. |
