If your pillows are filled with cash instead of down feathers, go for it. It'll look cool, especially if u put it on the car.

I 100% agree that, besides being ridiculously ugly, the 6K price is ridiculous. But I also feel that way about all carbon fiber aftermarket products for the bmw, including $1,200 for carbon fiber side vents, $4k+ for a carbon fiber diffuser, etc. People have this false impression that carbon fiber is worth its weight in gold, it's not. You can buy 50 yd rolls of the stuff on Amazon for $300.

Seriously CF cloth is cheap and resin is even cheaper. These parts should be barely more expensive than black gloss painted plastic lol Truthfully it would be more expensive to paint the wing and side mirrors in body color. We're all doing BMW a favor picking gloss black over body color

I have a premium all carbon road bike. The frame, rims, spokes, hubs, handlebars, seatpost and most components are carbon. Yes, the raw material cost may be low, but when I'm full gas at 80+kph on a steep downhill road I'm hoping the 'additional cost' went towards engineering and design. It's fair to say some of these car component manufacturers are taking advantage cost wise of a technology that's still associated with aerospace and F1, but Carbon components (when designed with maximum performance/minimal weight) are worth every penny, especially when I'm going down that hill. Ps/ That wing is taking the p##s IMO

Not to pile on, but I wouldn't put that on my car if someone paid me $6k. Unless of course I was really set on convincing ppl that I drive a Civic.
