Even door sills are illuminated but when open doors only.
That's on M8 , on M3/M4 I think it's not standard

Door sills are not illuminated. I had the factory door sills and now have the M performance door sills, and neither illuminate. It's reserved for 5 and above - my non-M but M sport X5 has illuminated sills with the M logo.

That's disappointing. At least we can order a tacky light that shows the M logo on the road when the door is open.

Yes, slightly tacky but it was easy to do. The sills would be nicer though.

I said “yes” to he was the only one. I don’t think it’s tacky. I think it looks cool. But then again I like the illuminated star on a Mercedes-Benz also so I guess I’m in the minority on these things.

It's not at all…

It's a small subtle logo on the interior of the car.

Now the illuminated Christmas star ornaments adorning the hood or front grill is a bit much.

I hope there is an error code if the star light goes out. I want to be the service writer on that customer visit.

Customer: my Christmas star light is out
SA: What year car?
Customer: 2022 Benze
SA: the 2021 Benze has the same star not illuminated. I can code out the error for free or $600 to fix the light
Customer: put it on my Amex

Funny quick story. In my M2C, I forgot to take the protective plastic off those little logos. The better half’s hair kept getting stuck in the edge of the sticker, at least once per trip, and yanked. For the first week or so we had the car. So much so that she started basically refusing to let us take the car anywhere.

First question she asked about the G80 after, How much did you spend this time, and, You don’t need to buy a bunch more wheels for this one do you?? … Does this one come with those stupid hair-pulling stickers on the seats?!

"you should disconnect the green wire and move to big Red/Yellow."

i don't see a "big Red/Yelllow" in that picture. He says the picture is a before picture… Pull the green wire and reinsert into the connector? where? Is the second wire on the right the "big Red/Yellow?" looks more Red/Brown to me.

Anyway is the second big from the right of the picture.
Yellow/red that for you is brown/red

Nope, completely different with G82. The wire is in light grey / yellow from wiring loom.

I hope you told her yes to the wheels and hair pulling stickers. After all, an M car should have hair pulling stickers.
