Have you ever met a German engineer? No way would they would approve a car--a halo special edition no less--whose engine output exceeded the maximum torque rating for the transmission.
BMW themselves states that both tranmissions are sourced from ZF. It makes sense that it's the ZF S6-53, specifically the GS6-53BZ according to wikipedia as they have used it many times before.

Scroll a bit down and you'll find them mentioning it's ZF https://www.bmw-m.com/en/topics/maga...tickshift.html
Well that would still limit them to 600nm the competition already has 650nm. So if this get 540hp like the CSL torque might be a concern.
Why would anyone pay more than the Comp to get a car with less torque?
To get a special version with the 6MT i guess.

If this thing actually gets the CSL weight reduction measures it could become very saught after but I really doubt it's going to happen. Maybe some bits and pieces but I hardly see why BMW would invest as much development on a 6mt model.

Exciting times with shortages, I just put an official request for a CT4V Blackwing, 1st inline at a big dealer for a CSL and told my local SA to try to get me this 50th Jahre Edition.

No one seemed worried if I don't actually take one of the cars if/when they arrived..

This is from another thread proving your statement to be correct

I would say if you don't have your CSL deposit down already, you probably won't be getting one.
