2022 G80 M3 Competition in Twilight Purple with M Perf CF Parts & IND Painted Parts

Just beautiful! I read your story and you and I share the fact of a long wait for this M car. For me it was almost 34 years I have wanted a M3 and like you had a bunch of bmws (9) until I could pull the trigger on mine.
Congratulations on a wonderful spec and all the additional IND color matched parts totally add to make your car a mean mamma jamma.

Glad to see you got your car! You’re spec is amazing…just wow. That M performance lip will really set it off. Are you doing PPF to keep that amazing paint protected?

Thanks! The long wait to finally get one is definitely worth it and while I haven't even hit 100 miles on the car, I'm in love with it for sure. So glad I went the extra mile and got the individual color and all the IND painted pieces.

Thanks! I'm hoping to get the front lip on soon but just kind of depends on when a buddy of mine is available to help out. He's got some ramps plus it will be good to have an extra set of hands to put it on.

I've got an appointment to drop it off on Tuesday afternoon to get PPF and ceramic done. I'll be going with PPF on the front bumper, full hood, front fenders, A pillars, roof, and the side blades. Then will have the full exterior ceramic coated, interior leather protected, and getting tints as well. Figured this should protect the most vulnerable/high impact areas for PPF and the ceramic will then of course make paint maintenance a breeze.

Only time will tell if this ends of being THE ONE that I keep for an extended amount of time. Being that it is my dream car, I could see it hanging around for some time…but sometimes that new car itch does come out of nowhere!

Trying to imagine how Ivory White would look..... I was leaning towards Tartufo.

I wanted Tartufo originally but since they don't allow it with the carbon buckets I went with Silverstone instead.

Beautiful spec. I mulled the idea of going with possibly twilight or another purple before I put my order in for Dravit grey. I didn't want the car to get pushed back for an individual build. Ordered mine in March and didn't receive the car til August anyway though lol. But I'm glad I went with the Dravit. Its incredible in person. Surprised its not an individual color and can be had for an small upcharge.

It was the right decision to wait for the individual purple. It is a special color when compared to SPY, which is a much more acquired taste ;-)

I have yet to see Dravit in person but from the photos I can tell it is a dynamic color depending upon the lighting. Hoping to catch one soon.

Late to the party but I hope there is still some scotch out as I toast you with this brilliant acquisition.

I said it the random thread: this is one color that for me, will not become a novelty. Its the perfect blend of new, exciting, different, yet will compliment the modified aesthetics and continually will catch the eye in positivity.
