I ordered my M4 without a moonroof, and the headroom is terrific (my E90 'slicktop' is too long ago to draw accurate comparisons). Ditto the legroom (inches to spare) and elbow/shoulder room. BTW, I'm 6'6". The wait is torture, but the reward is absolutely worth it. I hope you have winter tires (or at least all-seasons) lined up for your car's arrival. |

My first BMW was a 2008 E87 135i, followed by a 2018 F87 M2, and now the 2022 G82 M4CX. The F87 is an odd duck because it has the N55 engine and not the S55 from the M2C - I think it's still considered a real M car but I'm sure someone could argue that ...

After several VAG, Domestic and Japanese vehicles, its time to get into my first M.
I had a F87 order last summer and ended up cancelling it after a TD as it was too small for our needs. I was planning to order a G80 towards the end of this platform. But considering the iDrive 8 implementation in the upcoming MYs, i placed my order this month. |

The M340i is my first BMW.
The M3 Comp will be my first M car. Total money mismanagement on my part, but I don't care. |

I don’t have it yet, but this will be my first M car. I’ve had the aforementioned 325is, an f30 335i 6-speed, and currently an E53 X5 4.8is and G01 X3. Loved all of them for different reasons but I think the M is gonna be the keeper. |

First true M car for me. It's been my dream car since I was a teenager. Leased a M340i almost 3 years ago to dip my toes into BMW and at the time it was a more economical choice and I assumed a better daily for my 50 mile commute. With the lease coming to end in a few months and working from home until who knows when, I ordered a M3C xDrive.

This is my 3rd BMW, 1st M, and first performance center delivery.
I really loved reading everyone's responses and seeing what's in everyone's garages! I've gotten several thumbs up and a couple of compliments from strangers. Why did I choose a new one? A couple years ago I fell in love with a 2015 Yas Marina Blue M4 and the owner told me that he was going to sell. He kept delaying the sale, so i started looking at used ones because I was not a fan of the big grill. However, my son got me looking at the new ones, and when I went back to looking at the used ones, they looked so much like my 435. I ended up going to the dealer and it was love at first sight. I can't believe that I finally have my dream car!! I LOVE driving it and I love looking at it too! In order of purchase: 1979 used RX-7 4MT (or was it 5MT?) 1992 new Miata 5MT 1992 used Explorer 5MT (i had to sell Miata for a backseat when i had my first baby) 2004 new 325Ci 5MT (still own) 2014 used 435i 6MT (I LOVED this car) 2022 M4 Brooklyn Gray 6MT |

Yes, this will be our first M car after owning (2) 7 series, a 6 series convertible and an E46 4 door 3 series. I wasn't convinced when I saw the M4 online. Once we saw one in metal, we ordered it within a few weeks. Only reason it wasn't immediate was because my wife and I had to be sure of the exterior and interior color. Now we are just patiently preparing for our Aventurine/Tartufo M4 convertible to arrive.

Same here. I've had--and very much loved--a M340i for the past year. But it has some expected equity in it (in part due to the upswing in used prices now) and so I figured that this month really was my moment to order the M3. Totally irrational, from every perspective of course (including in light of how excellent and stunningly capable the 40i itself is)! But then, nothing is quite rational or pragmatic about a full-blooded M. It's an existential choice; especially here in the UK, where time really is running out to get hold of this kind of engineering (and sound!).

First BMW and M for me. I've always been an AMG guy but something about the G80 that absolutely blew me away and I just needed to have it. Eagerly waiting for mine to arrive in July.
