1st M for me but 3rd BMW. Doug Demero's G80 M3 MT review sold me. I felt I needed more fun in my life and he looked like he was having a sh*t ton of fun driving it.

This is my first BMW and my first M car… I figured what better way to get into the BMW club then to go straight for the M3
My 1996 Dodge Viper burned to the ground and took my 2012 Subaru wrx sti hatchback with it (it was a sad sad day) so I needed something fun and "practical" to replace both and this fit the bill! My Brooklyn Grey with Tartufo interior 6MT is in transit and I can't wait!! |

5th BMW, 2nd M, first BMW 6MT. 17th car that I've owned.
5 German cars, 7 Japanese cars, 5 American cars. 10th Manual, 4th 6-speed preceded by 5 5-speeds and 1 4-speed. 1 DCT (my previous car, an M2C). 6 Autos, including two ZF8's and a couple of 70's-era 3-speed horror shows. |

Not bragging, but to be accurate - 21 new BMW's since 1999 (52 new cars so far since 1996). Probably like everyone here, I love cars and have been fortunate to have owned so many. This will be my 9th M car (not including M Sport models). I have two BMW's currently on order now for my wife and myself (#53 G80 M3 AWD and #54 G05 X5 45e).
The M cars: 2008 M3 6MT sedan (E90) 2010 X5 M (E70) 2010 M3 DCT sedan (E90) 2011 M5 DCT (F10) 2014 M5 Competition DCT (F10) 2015 X5 M (F85) 2016 M3 DCT sedan (F80) 2018 M3 Competition DCT sedan (F80) 2022 M3 Competition AWD sedan (G80) - in production For the record, the M3's have consistently been my favorites. I have high expectations for the G80. The roundup - 27 Japanese, 23 German, 2 American

I've owned 10 BMW'S including 5 Seven series cars. I have never owned a new BMW or a M car. Before getting married, I was JDM guy owning RX7, Z cars and 3000gt. Once I owned my first BMW, I was hooked. I was back and forth on the M3 and actually considered a CPO M5 or M550i but this car hooked me once I saw it in person. I should be putting my order in August and may even do PCD since this will be the first new BMW.

My brother has a 2018 M2 Comp 6MT. Ordered it new, it was his first BMW. He keeps his cars a long time and I do not believe he will ever part with it

11th M for me (only had Ms) and loving the way it drives, handles, accelerates, and just the overall character of the car. Not the fastest Ive had or even the current fastest M car (goes to the M8) but speed is not everything and it truly compliments my GC Comp.

This will be my first M car but my 10th BMW and will be my second Performance Center Delivery. I decided to go and get almost all options and splurge on Individual Voodoo Blue paint. Got my Build Number and just waiting in line at Status 102.
I wish it would be my First Euro Delivery but we all know what happened there. I really like the design direction they went with for M3/M4. Its a divergence but it does have a bunch of previous cars lines in the design. Its distinctive and that is also a true mark of an M car to me. to me an M3/M4 should not be a sleeper car.

First time BMW owner here, also the first M. It is really the first time I'm able to afford a new car outright and didn't want to go electric or hybrid before it becomes mainstream. Put my deposit down for xDrive the moment G80 was announced back in September 2019, and hooked ever since.
Guess my loyalty is all over the place as a Millennial lol 2013 - Honda CR-V 2015 - Merc E class 2016 - Accord V6 coupe (sold to my neighbour's son in 2021 and still seeing it everyday lol. Loved that thing) 2017 - Audi Q5 for winter & ski trips (now a beater) 2021 - G80 M3 xDrive (will-be daily) |

This will be my second bimmer, first M car. I've been wanting an M car since high school which at the time was the E36 (been a long time coming).
I previously had a 2007 335xi manual, a 2002 WRX, and a 95 Acura Legend GS coupe manual and a few other less interesting cars. Been stuck in SUV land for 6 years and can't wait for this car to arrive. |
