Spacers...
One of the first modification it seems like everyone is doing is spacers and getting it lowered and then getting an alignment done.
If you do just spacers, you still have to get alignment correct? And also, are you guys getting access of stone chips from the wheels being further out? Seems like the bulk of what I read, 15 front and 12 rears, there's no rubbing issues, want to confirm it be true. Thanks for all the tips! Car is around the corner I will be ordering parts this weekend!

I just lowered my G80 on Kw has kit with Future classics 15F/12R spacers. I do not have any rubbing. Some have experienced rubbing on the Pirellis. I do have the Pirellis. Waiting for the car to finish settling before doing the Alignment. All my work is done by AutoCouture in Fairlawn, NJ.

Check your tires before ordering spacers. Those of us with p zeros have gone smaller spacers in the front to avoid rubbing. I run 10/12 due to having p zeros.

You shouldn't need an alignment with just spacers.
With Pirelli's you will most likely rub running 15F. This can be solved with a heat gun and some forming of the vanes behind the coolers. I am currently running 18F with Pirelli's and was able to solve the issue with some trimming, but the heat gun is a better solution. |

Alignment is only needed if you are lowering the car. Spacers alone don't need a realignment since you are not changing the geometry of the suspension.
I did 10/10 as I read that some had reported rubbing with 12s in the front with P-Zeros. It's a personal choice of course but I feel 10s are more than adequate for the rear. Not sure how visible the 2mm difference between the 10s and 12s would be in the front, but I didn't want to risk having any rubbing so I chose to go with with 10s. While they certainly help, they stop short of being "just right" in the front. |

I dont know the exact measurements. The front is at the lowest recommended setting and the rear is raised to the highest setting to equal the wheel gap.

Alright! I don't want to go lower than yours, I think it looks perfect, but it's just to get a good idea of what to expect during install. Thanks again!

I'm looking at getting a set of 20" forged wheels in brushed silver to go along with it, I think it will look great with san marino blue and the lowering

So for someone who doesn't want to mess with G80 suspension and don't like the slammed/lowered look, would you recommend 10/10 with Pirellis or 10F and 12R

You should go with the 10/12 combo with the Pirellis.

You'll get some additional stuff kicked up yeah. I went with Tommy L Garage's mudflaps on my F80 and they've been awesome. I'll be getting them again once the G80 gets here too. They save a lot crap from hitting the paint.

I hear you have to get an alignment after you fill up your gas tank!

Sorry for what may appear to be a stupid question, but when you install spacers, do you also need to change the wheel bolts, and also I see some people recommend some type pf anti-seize.
Are both of these required on top of the spacers? Appreciate the advice.

Bolts will be supplied with a proper kit. I lightly coated the inner surface of my spacers with copper slip compound. I'd imagine given time they will bond to the hub without this and I don't want to risk that for the sake of a simple low cost addition during install.
