Arrow Official Signature Wheel Gallery | G80/82/83 Fitment Q&A Thread

Introducing Signature

Introducing the official Signature Wheel Gallery and Fitment Q&A Thread. We will showcase our wheels in this thread and we will also openly help you figure out the best wheels/tires setup for your vehicle. It doesn't matter if you're interested in Signature or not, we will even use our team of engineers to help you ensure you'll have the perfect fitment. At Signature, we believe in sharing our knowledge and making the car community a better place. We publicly disclosed proven "flush" fitments/offsets/tire sizes on our website and the list will grow as we test fit more vehicles. At Signature, we believe in pushing the fitment limits to be "aggressively tasteful."

We call all of this the Signature Movement, so come on in and ask questions...

Who are we?
Signature is founded by a group of car enthusiasts who spent years of modding and racing our personal vehicles. We realized when choosing a set of wheels, you have 2 of 3 choices as follow: (1) Reasonably Priced (2) Strong (3) Lightweight. We created Signature so you no longer have to choose, you can have a set of reasonably priced, ridiculously strong, and ultra light wheels. On top of that, we promise our wheels to arrive at your doorsteps within 5 weeks from ordering. No ifs, buts, or ands... We haven't missed our deadline yet, that's a promise we plan to keep.

Signature wheels are designed in California and manufactured by one of the top forged wheel manufacturers in the world. We have 50 CNC machines allocated, OEM quality coating, and a dedicated team of engineers to ensure each set is bespoke's to your car's weight, power, and brake clearance. Our wheels are machined from the highest grade 6061-T6 aluminum that's been pressed at 10 thousand tons and heat treated at Signature's proprietary temperature. We believe in designs that are strong, light, and timeless.

JWL/VIA CERTIFIED
HUB CENTRIC
ACCEPT OEM LUG BOLTS AND NUTS
MAX BRAKE CLEARANCE

Timeless Designs

Our 2-Piece wheels are available with hidden or exposed hardware. If exposed, you can choose the hardware colors to be Black, Raw Aluminum, Gold, or Blue Titanium. OEM TPMS compatible. Optional Center-Lock, Anti-Slip Knurling Bead Tread, and OEM caps center hole.

Go ahead, ask us wheels and tires fitment questions...

Glad to see you guys participating in the forums here…heard many good things about your products over the years. Hope members take you up on the offer for advice/help.

I have a question…typically awd cars have square setups, I’m assuming for rolling diameter matching. The g8x X drive cars come with staggered 19/20 and staggered width (still within 1% rolling diameter). I am assuming bmw decided on a staggered setup for a reason, some discussion indicated bmw chose 19 fronts for better turn in feel during hard cornering.

Realistically, how much of a difference in feel can we expect from doing a 20” square setup (say 20 X 10 w/285s) versus a 19/20 factory size or even 20” f and r with staggered widths? (Assuming of course all stay within the 1% threshold). I like the idea of a 20/20 setup for looks, but don’t want to change the driving dynamics of the chassis too much to do so.

You will do just fine with 20" all around. Maybe it will be a bit stiffer on the front axle, but i doubt you will even notice a difference at all.

You can run 20/20, no issues. I would run 20x10 front with 285 and 20x11 run with 295. But if you want to do a square setup, you'll need 15mm spacers in the rear to make it flush.

20x10 ET10 square with 15mm spacers rear should be spot on.

As for why some cars have smaller wheels front and larger rear, it boils down to tire size availability and sidewall stiffness. Example, the Porsche 991 GT3 RS comes with 265/35/20 front and 325/30/21 rear. They could go with 325/35/20, but Cup2 isn't available in that size and that would reduce feel in the rear during cornering (exiting the corner - slow in fast out with rear engines). Porsche weight distribution is much heavier in the rear, BMWs are 50/50 balanced. So my guess is BMW did it for look, M4 GTS did it for tire availability. They could've done 285/35/19 instead of 295/30/20 rear, but not the tire brand they're looking for.

As for the G80/82, for track, ideal setup would be 285/35/19 square. You can get a lot of R tire brand in such sizes.
Street, 285/30/20 and 295/30/20 are perfect.

Signature Track Series SV501 in Brushed Aluminum. 19x9.5 ET7 front and 19x10.5 ET8. OEM tires. Many variables are in offset, there's not many one size fits all. Boils down to camber, suspension, tire size, tire brand, and finally owner's preference.

Our wheels are made specific to each vehicle's brakes, suspension setup, weight, max power potential, tire size, and tire brand. We spend up to hours with each customer to figure out the perfect setup. That's what truly sets our brand apart, because we were in your shoes once.

We're made up of gear heads, track junkies, and fitment gurus.

Our wheels take 4 weeks to build. Not buts, ifs, or ands... During the peak of the pandemic, we have not missed production deadline. Not a day!

Signature SV303S
Sahara Brushed Sand Face
Brushed Aluminum Lip
Black Hardware
Vintage Signature Caps
20x10 ET10 front and 21x11 ET12 rear
KW suspension

The results? Nothing short of spectacular from a look and performance perspective. 0 rub guaranteed, no spacers ever needed.

At Signature, close enough isn't our standard. OBSESSED with perfection.

G80 - 20/20 Meaty Setup - Signature SV310S

Here's to those who hates stretch tires look. Customer specifically requested perfectly squared off tires setup, no stretch. Customer also didn't want 19/20 or 20/21 as it looks odd to him. So here's what we ended up with.

Signature SV310S
20x9.5 ET7 front and 20x10.5 ET8 rear
285/30/20 front and 295/30/20 rear
KW HAS

What do you think?

*yes, we share our fitment. That's what we do for the car community. Lots of trial and errors, lots of measurements conducted to get it perfect.

Signature SV601 Drag Setup

Signature Attack Series SV601 Drag Setup
Gloss Black with Vintage Caps
Signature Friction Lock (to prevent tire slippage) and SRA (Signature Reinforced Architecture) options, which reinforced the spokes for heavy launches with drag compound
19x9.5 ET5 front and 19x9.5 ET-5 rear
NT555R 275/40/19

Quarter Mile Time: 9.78

Owner's IG: https://www.instagram.com/s58_is_the_goat/

Our wheels have one the largest inner barrel clearance in the industry, this means CCB has more breathing room compared to stock 19" front.

Attack Series SV601 is our modern interpretation of the timeless JDM design. Made for endurance racing on vehicles with aggressive offset seen on widebody race cars. For the G8x, the offset is very aggressive. We accomplish this particular's customer's precise fitment without needing to use spacers. That's the Signature way.

So without reading 54 pages of posts. What does a 304 in the 20x9.5 20x10.5 Weigh?
I like the 1000m but they seem heavy. Kida negate the weight savings of CCBs.

2-piece has overlapping lip and hardware, so it's about 3LB heavier than the single piece SV104. SV104 is around 20-22.5LB, SV304S is 23-25.5LB. Regardless, still lighter than OEM 20" so go for the design that fits your style.

My Frozen Bronze 1000M are 59 pounds front, and 64.5 rear with tires, and TPMS/ Weights. 20/21 The tires that come with the set, are Yokohama Advan V107 Star. Just for reference.

Glad you weighed the whole setup.

Something that is very overlooked, is tire weight. I've seen too many guys pay $10-12k for a set of 7075 grade aluminum wheels that are 3LB lighter than our SV104 and installed RT660 tires on them. RT660 tire is 3-5LB heavier than MP4S or Cup2.

If weight is a concern, our SV104 is the lightest that we offer. The Y split has a "U" shape which reduce the chance of any split cracks seen in similar Y split designs that failed on the track.

All of our wheels have a strutural warranty of 3yrs. Even if you track with our wheels with slicks every single weekend doing time attack, we'll stand behind our product (actual customer with a 991 properly using our wheels below). Also, 50% off on accidental damage replacements for the life you own the wheels.

Choose a company based on how they will take care of you after you're a customer, not before it.

Agreed. Tire weight is a huge factor. 3-5 pounds per corner, is alot of extra weight.

Pure Turbos Europe

Signature is trusted by Pure Turbos Europe on their builds. Owner trusts Signature on his personal cars as well as customers.

SV702 Gloss Black
20x10.5 ET16 square setup for quarter mile, 1/2 mile, and top speed record runs

Signature has the one the largest inner barrel clearance in the industry, important for those with large CCB or BBK clearance. Signature's 20" allows large brakes setup to swim in our wheels. Our 19" also allow way more clearance than stock 19".
