Belt ? Pulley? Can anyone else hear this it seems to get louder as I move the phone towards it

Happens at idle only goes away with gas/revs

Man thats bad. Definitely a pulley. There seems to be common issues with pulley on these cars. Some only make loud screeching sounds when cold started in low temperatures. Then theres sounds like these.

Definitely take it in. The more that bring these in will get more attention to the issue!

Dealer to replace alternator belt and deflection pulley

Unfortunately pulley backordered

Interesting, my dealer had the part the next day, will confirm which one it was once I get the car back, thinking it will be early next week

Did yours ever get fixed? What was the reasoning? I was told by my dealer on the phone that there is an open TSB for this noise.

idk i'm out of the country right now so I haven't brought it back yet

it went from squeaky all the time to just when im very low rpm (turning engine on/off or when im letting the clutch out without gas)
