Many company owners here got so much money they shouldn’t be getting in the first place from some ridiculous government programs that they ended up with so much money on their hands that it’s ridiculous. But that’s a subject on a whole different conversation.
My friend, if I gave you the impression that I was angry, I apologise as it was never the case. Also, I never did any name-calling, just pointing out, whatever anyone does is their choice.

And yes, I agree with you wholeheartedly, what happened with COVID-money-printing machine is an abomination, one which our great grandchildren will be paying for in 50-years' time.

Finally, as you have rightly so pointed out, I also was advocating for freedom of choice (and equally speech in a constructive way meaning not complaining just for the sake of complaining - though even that's not a problem). I even mentioned in a subsequent post that I appreciated and supported the opinion of others even if contrary to mine.

Thank you for your contribution.

Such is the spirit of resilience. I'm ever so happy that you honour him with such love and compassion.

May he rest in peace (in the car of his choice)

meanwhile m2 competitions and cs are still flipping for good money. this 2021 w/ 5k miles went for 6k over msrp + fees.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2021-bmw-m2-11/

i think the new g87 m2 will follow the same fate as the g80 in terms of investment. buddy said a dealer offered him an allocation for $5k adm. i told him to walk.

LoL, bravo sir.

Don't really understand this thread, if the guy wants to flip it's his choice. I don't get it, but it doesn't bother me.

BMW on the other hand, releasing the G8X abomination. That's what I'm saving my stash of hatorade for.

IMHO it's also the butthurt community that cannot take any criticism that drives down the price of the G-gen.
G87 has more core de-contenting such as the floating brakes, no DCT option, cast wheels, much heavier weight, all of which point to less motorsport focus.

My wife bought a new M2 Comp in 2020. She literally never drives it. I checked the other day and it has 2,500 miles on it. Is this a common theme amongst M2 Comp owners?

$119k + CCB @ $7.5k = $126.50

Add CF boot lid & laser trail lights @ $28.5k

Now tell me what you think?

That rounds up to a tidy $200 US per mile. Very swank!

But seriously, hope nothing unfortunate is involved.

i like it alot. was surprised how different it feels from the f80. The engine feels more NA (probably due to lower boost) and just routine driving around town it feels more agile. more chuckable. like an e46.

I had an M2 comp for 3 years and put 12k miles on it over that time... in my personal opinion, its very uncomfortable and super impractical.... so for most people it's a fun car only.

Would never get one again... and would go for an m3 which is far more practical, larger, more luxurius and a far better performance car.

Question:

Should, like Ferrari, BMW have resale conditions on limited addition runs?

Do we know if there's one with the 3.0 CSL?

That’s amazing that your son is a car buff. Both of my daughters absolutely love being in the back seat of a Porsche 911 I have. I think those small seats might have been designed with the purpose of listing kids enjoy the experience of a sports car while being safely tucked away.

Look forward to reading more that you write here as well. I’m quite the student of all automotive; it really sounds like you have a great spin on this genre. Have a great weekend!
