Just get the CS tune for the transmission. It is still much smoother than the DCT but basically as fast at that point. I'm very happy with it.

The G80 just has "globsmacks" of torque, that can save you when you find out your in the wrong gear, or ruin you when you find out your too fast in the wrong gear. M2 = autocross M3 = track; and if road trips (or more than 2 adults) are in in the plans G80 all day long.
