CTS Turbo is excited to announce the release of our latest Stage 2+ designed specifically for the BMW S58 platform. This kit builds on the success and knowledge for the previous turbo projects we have made and incorporates new technology to optimize performance and maintain factory fitment.

Our engineers utilized transient flow analysis and flow bench testing to optimize the twin scroll turbine housing, while maintaining stock fitment, stock location, and using the stock wastegates. This allows for the use of any stock fitment downpipes, intakes, and charge pipes. The result is an impressive 825whp-900whp. You can simply transfer your factory wastegates, high performance downpipes, intake and charge pipes during the install. No custom parts are needed and all factory installation hardware and gaskets are used!

No need for cores to be sent in or purchased.

Each turbocharger is VSR balanced to exceed OE tolerances with upgraded heavy-duty bearings and thrust washers.

Our turbochargers are designed to move a lot of air at lower boost levels, which means you can make some serious power without over-speeding the turbos, which means reliable performance.

Further performance can be gained using larger turbo inlets with this setup.

Nice alternative to other stock turbo upgrades, which are priced almost as much as a big single.

Incredible bang for buck! I would have went for this had this product being released about 8 months earlier. Are these equivalent to the PS2+ and Mosselmans?

tough to say if it's comparable to Pure since it's still a brand-new product but we'll know in 6 months to 1 year.

They are similar to stock turbos with a slight increase if you have stock inlets. Without inlets they are very restricted. I would say they are smaller than the pure and Vargas turbos.

They're also half the price, that needs to be taken into consideration. Is 850whp not enough?
If you're spending $7500 for pure turbo's you might as well get a single for a 1-2k more. Upgraded stock turbo's shouldn't cost $7500.

Do you have any info on the compressor and turbine sizes for the CTS Stg2+?

That could give an approximation on how they might compare to Full Race, Pures and others.

AFAIK Pure Stg2s has same compressor and turbine size measurements as the Full Races.

The tune is not mandatory, but upgrading the turbo and keeping the stock map does not make sense as you wont be taking advantage of the bigger turbos in this case

Agree, if you are set on getting this kit and that's the only thing stopping you, CTS will have more info on the specs.
