Ruby Star Neo. Originally had it ordered in Ruby Star but still no PTS from factory. Love the color though. A little darker and richer then the classic Ruby Star.

Im gonna use some pathetic semantics here; its a late 2022 as I got it May and most 2022 992's had been delivered or built. But not GTS's so my flawed logic now means I need to get a new Porsche

All stupid jokes aside, I love this fucking car. So while I am looking at a few Turbo S's I do not think its a necessary move just yet.

- Did you pick that color on purpose?

- Did you realize that your daughter cannot reach the pedals when you ordered this car?

- Will they let you keep that front bumperette? My wife could use one of those for her car...

OK, seriously, strong kudos here for your unique and quite attractive color, extra kudos for the selection of the proper transmission and a big thumbs up for getting some of that interior trim to match the exterior - it's a great look!

As for the color there was a lot of debate. When my wife first saw it she said you bought a f@&king pink Porsche!!! It was slowly growing on her until last weekend when a group of college girls pulled up next to us at a light and struck up a conversation. She was not amused.

So, years ago, I ordered a new 911S coupe (991.1) in Amaranth Red with the two-tone full cow interior, the name of which escapes me at the moment.

I picked up the car, and the (future) wife comes over to my house and we go for a ride in the new extremely-expensive-ridiculously-overpriced sports car with the special extra-cost paint and the seven-cows-died-for-this interior. She gets in, and the first thing she says is "this interior is duck shit brown."

Caveat, I have not driven any of the 992's yet, but have extensive experience in 991.2 and older.

Are you sure you really want to make that trade? I'm not sold on the Turbo's looks (although it's WAY better than the 991) and with the GTS you already have the turbo suspension and brakes in, to me, a better looking car. Yeah the Turbo S has all the cache, but if you're lacking power, the 3.0 engines are highly, HIGHLY tunable. Especially since you already have the GTS Turbos. And it's not going to be as laggy as the 3.7 liter is.

Yeah that post was quite a bit ago and Ive moved on as the flat 3.0 sounds much better (especially with an exhaust) and Ive got about 100 more hp and tq with the M Engineering tune than my stock 474 ish hp. The response, to your point, is solid and my options include things that the Turbo S gets standard which make the chassis much more enjoyable in the curves and even on the straights with the PDCC and RAS.

I dont think the material gain in trap speed and launch vs my tuned GTS is enough for me to swap especially with price hikes. I scored on my GTS with a top of the monroney at 136k or so and now its 153 and climbing pre options. My car has a shit load of options and would be in the 190s with the current msrp.

Yup, agreed. My wife's Cayenne was a 2023 and we avoided the 2024 refresh's price hike, in addition to the cost cutting on the interior.

When I look at what current 911 prices are, the used car market seems to have been propped up by the insane new car prices. $190k was what a NICELY equipped 991.2 GT3 retailed for. When I was debating what to do with my Turbo S, I was looking at 992's and I'm like....man these things are expensive for what you get these days.
