However, since ynguldyn left the M quartet out of that update, there's some ambiguity. While I agree that the simplest answer is G80 gets it 7/22, G82/G83 get it 3/23, it would be great to get confirmation of that.

I don't see why a G81 in the US would be tens of thousands of dollars more than G80. It all depends on options I suppose but base price shouldn't be that different. And RS6 is monstrously enormous and competes with M5 so a completely different price category. This is all irrelevant though since we don't get it.
Competition xDrive is exactly how I want mmy G8x though so add me to that list of take my US money. Side note if this is the type of dash that we are getting on G80/82 for LCI, looks like I want a pre-LCI (unless G81 ). |

Different class and price point.

And probably the G87 will debut with the new dash because he confirmed that the G42 will get the new dash in 08/22.If i was in the market for a G80 i would buy now.That new dash layout looks terrible IMO.

I hate the dash so much I'm probably going to buy instead of lease as I have no interest in an LCI. It was the number 1 reason, well maybe number 2 after the squeaky interiors, that I don't want a Mercedes, but even they have ditched it now. People need to stop copying the worst automotive interiors that are Tesla. I want a dash, not an iPad.
