Out of curiosity what would you have done differently? Saying it's ugly while also saying it's boring is interesting, as I'd have thought the new grille change and the following drama around it would make it not boring?

I agree that is not boring. In fact I am starting to come around to this design. I still dislike the new grills a lot but I do appreciate the side profile more and more.

I have a feeling BMW makes a ton of profit on the $5000 color options. Never seen them market them like this.

I'd agree with him. The whole front end is so bad looking, I'm already bored of seeing them. Nothing besides a full front end replacement is going to make it interesting or good looking (to me). The bumper, hood, headlights and grill all look like they were done by a totally separate team than the rest of the car.

the car doesn't seem to look distinguished anymore from the side profile.
rear qtr panel shots are the best the g80 looks *in photos.
