The driver must had no clue about how important having a set of winter tires is...
Deserved, no sympathy unless the actual story tells otherwise.

If I'm correct, I don't think winter tires are mandatory in Switzerland (they are in other European countries). So his Michelins could have definitely played a role in not being able to make an emergency stop in cold weather, whether they were was snow on the ground or not.

No fun… I hope the occupants are okay, and happy just knowing they were in a safe, safe car

Cars can easily be replaced, so they can always pickup a nice shiny new one

The driver was a 24 years old who thought could drive and turned xdrive off. With summer tires. On a wet and freezing road in mid January.

Ok. So still, if you’re only looking at the back 2/3…or even 1/2…what a gorgeous car. Wish I could buy it here.

Dang..hope the driver was OK. For all the hate the long touchscreen has been receiving, Its amazing that it didnt crack on this headon collision. Those sticks that are holding it down appears to be working well.

They took the term a little too literally.

"not for the faint hearted". Based on that I expected to see limbs hanging out if the hood. Hopefully they were okay and had insurance.

Summer tires strike again. In winter. Don’t the dealers tell the uninformed of the hazard? I thought there were rumes in the EU about summer/winter tire swaps.

LOL the windshield and all the windows seem completely intact. This is nothing...

Feel bad for the car for it's much worse off than the "driver"
