There will be another special M3 model in 2024-2025, either another run of M3 CS (based on LCI2) or something similar.

With a longer production run for this platform, thats a win win scenario for both parties. More limited variants for customers and BMW can milk more from its last ICE variant.

I wonder if bmw will offer aftermarket upgrades as a packaged installed by dealers for $$ if they update aspects of the car. Example dial in suspension, steering feel and powertrain coding enhancements via OTA.

That would be extremely beneficial for current owners. But from business POV, BMW might not want it so that customers will keep buying those newer variants.

Agree but if the supply chain still sucks and it takes 6 months to get a car with a crazy interest rate...could be a win. People get some of the updates for a few grand and bmw gets the sale of parts/install. At some point folks may do a not worth 80k to upgrade but could easily justify 5k for tune, tranny, steering, suspension ,diff and awd tweaks with warranty.

Im expecting some exterior cosmetic to keep it fresh but they just updated the interior. I don't see them doing major refresh to the power train unless they have a emissions problem.

Ford does an aftermarket tune at the dealership...

We never know whats being forced onto OEMs on the other side of the pond. F87 engine upgrade during LCI was a blessing for people who were patient.
