It's a better picture but the most critical aspect of this grille is that we see it as a flat surface - which it won't be. The top of the grille will be slanted/angled into the body and that's is going to do a lot to overall aesthetic of it.

Crazy how this render is kinda close to the first render that Bimmerpost put out and almost 95% of the members said it looked like cat shit (cartman voice &#129315 but now since a few real photos popped up that really make the next gen look like diarrhea i see a good about of guys saying they like the renders now lol.

If you watch the i4 Concept Reveal video it's clear that even BMW knows the new front styling is a train wreck. When they turn to the woman to speak to the exterior design, she only references the rear and side, and doesn't mention the design of the front of the car at all.

Tell me how that rendered bumper matches the 4 series leak. It doesnt. Tell me how it reflects the M3 bc the grill is clearly narrower. The 3 bumper also has angled slats that are missing from this rendering - I think the white 3 is throwing off the basis because it is a poor photo. The gray leak shows the slats more. Also, please tell me the body painted diffuser was a mistake or early prototype? That looks awful

This car (rendering) reminds me of a girl that might have some attractive qualities, but she has a really ugly face and a flat ass. Definitely not making me want to separate me from my money so far. Maybe it will be a spectacular performer; have great features; a stunning interior; and a low price... But I'm not optimistic anything will overcome the external design.

PEOPLE...from a design perspective the front and rear don't match, and have no cohesiveness. Secondly the renders are not in the current BMW design language. For example the M8,X5M,X6M,M5, m340i all have a similar design language. Bmw is not going to deviate too far from that for the G80 M3. If you want to visualize what it may look like just look at the current models.

Something is still not right. A recent spy photo shows a shark nose kink towards the top of the grill slats like the 8er has. I think the real car will surprise us and look quite attractive compared to all of the "leaks" and renders.

Don't be a denier.... the car IS going to look like this. NOT like G80. Just look at the i4 concept out just today. I don't like it, but it's obviously what BMW wants.
