Some people really need to get over the grill thing or just move on to something else. Maybe a good '57 Chevy or similar that would be more palatable to the traditionalist mindset that is adamant about not accepting change.
I wonder why the newer style M3/M4 are in such tight supply if they are so ugly and undesrieable.
Change is a gurantee and will happen with or without our blessings as individuals. Time to accept the fact this is GONE:

I was being sarcastic toward your quote.

The rest of my quote had to do with the buck teeth picture.

Another area where the g8x are way ahead of any other model is the rate of over-caffeinated owners and/or fanboys feeling personally offended over silly memeing

My guess is that even though the grill shape doesn’t seem to be changing, they will change the grill insert to be more up to date with the latest design direction, similar to the new X5M. Current grill insert is looking a bit dated.

I’m good with my pre-LCI laserlight DRLs. Not a fan of the new ones. Unless these shots show non-laserlights and there will be a laserlight option with better DRLs.

Maybe an updated steering wheel
New interior color or trim options?

Can’t see much else being changed.

We enjoy seeing the late model M3/M4s around and at cars and coffee. It is a very aggressive looking design, ferrocious performer, and obviously selling exceptionally well much to the chagrin of the haters.
Show me an old school fist pounder and I'll show you a guy who is living in the past.

That’s the biggest thing I noted. It looks sharp. Subtle, but refined just enough to make an impact visually. I got a kick out of it.

You mean the same handful of people on this forum that bitch about it at every chance? I think the sales figures and fact you cannot easily get one still , means they are doing just fine.

Correct me if im wrong , but the laser lights offered to us in North America never had the full functionality as the folks in EU , right? So optioning the laser lights for us was more of cosmetic choice to get the blue piece and the full circle led instead of the half LED under the main head lamp.

Also - I hope they do refresh the interior, new steering wheel would be nice, along with a cooler ambient lighting setup, upgrade to the zero layer I drive 8.5. They made a decent amount of changes to the interior of the X5 and X6 LCI so it wouldn't be totally out of left field.

It's been stated that the lasers are going away across all BMW models.

You can get them coded to full functionality for less than $300

Exactly.
The new look is selling extremely well. Little itty bitty grills are GONE, that handfull stuck in the past can just get over it or buy an EV that has no grill. LOL.
