The GT3RS is all about corner speed, downforce and braking, coupled to an awesome engine, not a one dimensional drag race, which is so meh.
I agree but M cars are not about drag racing either. The times the M3xdrive/CS/CSL run on the N'Ring are VERY impressive given their size and origin as a 3 series. As much as I love Porsche (I am on my 11th one) BMW does make a better sport sedan than Porsche.

I'd love to see what BMW could create if they got the freedom to make a ground up sports car that costs 300K. We see what MB did with the AMG and I think BMW would be able to do considerably better.

Guys, As an owner of a 991.2 man GT3 and a .2 speedster 100%, I agree with your assessment, 4L in the 991.2 variants are phenomenal engines, I love the Porsche GT series formula, even on the 992GT3 I welcome the N/A 4L, which I've tracked back to back at willow along with my 991.2 , entry speeds, braking ability deeper into a corner between 991gen to 992 GT3 improvements are very evident.
My criticism for 992GT3 RS, it can handle considerable more power. Porsche should have stepped up with a more powerful engine in the form of a larger N/A powerplant. 4L is very much maxed out.
Yes still outstanding lap times at Nordschleife, but I imagine if RS had more oomph it would wipe the floors with the AMG GT BS, let alone having a discussion if M3 CS is as quick on a straight line.

I wouldn’t. You cannot drive that thing even for just regular outings and keep a straight face. Just a ridiculous machine for track days for people who have more than enough money.

The M3 is the perfect middle class working people’s car IMO. I’ll never have more than enough, so I have to do with a single car for all my needs/wants.

The M3 is a "middle class working people's car?" Holy inflation!

Agreed! I really enjoy these real world, casual, races against fantastic cars we all are curious about what would happen?

The only thing about CarWow.... Matt is quite annoying.

Yet 7:23 is soooo fast for a four door saloon compared to a fee years ago. Nive Pcar. Love my CS!
