Damn, I didn’t notice. I updated the post.
328 is pretty damn fast. Is definitely have to have the brakes to trust it at that speed.

I have the update and its pretty noticeable going into and out of turns--- understeer is pulled and the car is even more lively. Its still a big fatty but IDGAF

I’m so on the fence. Wait for a new model. Which it’s been over 10 years for the first one, with updates here and there. I’d at least like to wait for the brakes to be part of the build. $20k is ridiculous for the brake upgrade. That’s that price people won’t pay when they didn’t order them with their car. They’d rather just suffer.

20k is alot but you get the full set of forged wheels and tires too... probably half the price right there and install is included. But this is to add on and not to build.

Package Includes:

Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit:

2x 410 x 40mm carbon-silicon carbide front rotors
2x 410 x 32mm carbon-silicon carbide rear rotors
2x 6-piston one-piece, forged front calipers with high-performance brake pads
2x 4-piston one-piece, forged rear calipers with high-performance brake pads
2x integrated, caliper-mounted parking brakes
Track-ready brake fluid
Updated firmware tuned for peak performance
Wheel/Tire Components:

2x 20X10J, Zero-G wheels with 285/35R20 Goodyear Supercar 3R tires (front)
2x 20X11J, Zero-G wheels with 305/30R20 Goodyear Supercar 3R tires (rear)
TPMS, Zero-G center caps, tire nut valves and lug nut covers
The Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit can also be purchased as a standalone product through the dropdown menu.

Note:

Compatible with Model S Plaid vehicles produced in 2021+.
Top speed of 200 mph achievable with Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit and proper wheels and tires fitted for those speeds.
Carbon Ceramic Brake Kits are not compatible with 19” Tempest wheels but are compatible with 20” Zero-G and 21” Arachnid wheels (sold separately).
Goodyear Supercar 3R tires are not recommended for winter use. Tesla does not recommend using these ultra high-performance summer tires when temperatures drop to approximately 40℉ (5℃) or below or in snow/ice conditions.
Shipping to your preferred Tesla Service Center and installation are included with purchase.

That's the problem with the wheels. I think they look just "ok." The Arachnid wheels look better. Your wheels look better than both of them, but, the Supercar 3 tires, I would run, but, they don't fit on the Arachnid wheels. So you would have to get your wheels in the size that the supercar tires fit the rims.

I've seen some reviews on the Supercar 3 tires, and it looks like they outperform the PS4s. But to Michelins credit, the PS4s are now like a 5 year old tire.

So without the savings $91k? That's a shit ton of car for that money. Tesla still reigning champion of the performance / $$ metric.

In other news, the new Highland Model 3 refresh looks pretty good! But the real proof will be how nice the "improved interior quality" and "updated suspension" are.

Edit: Plaid with 21's, upgraded interior is $96k. That's the same price as my incoming M3 and WAY faster, lol.

I paid cash 137k in Sept of 2021--- Im hanging on to mine as a sunken cost but i feel for the fuckers who just paid 108 base or 115 base half a year ago as well. But they arent as bad off as the early adopters like me

And not only did they cut the front price, they pulled the paint bump costs too. My paint was a 3k add and now its included and so are all the others (white was the only no add color).

took this yesterday-- clean and mean and worthless LOL

Yeah, Tesla and resale are not compatible. Lol.

If I wouldn't have FOMO, I should by all rights get a Model 3 RWD for my kids. Smoking deal. But I lived with one for 4 years, and above all, the suspension is utter garbage. If it weren't for that...I'd probably buy one.

I get the same as the normal 21's since the Vossens are the same diameter and width but actually lighter by about 5 lbs a wheel.
