Move from '19 C63s AMG to G80 M3 (6MT)

Has anyone owned both vehicles or made the move from the C63s AMG to a G80 M3 in stick?

I switched from my previous E92 M3 to the C63s a few years ago (regretted selling the M3 shortly), and while I think it's a great car - I'm yearning to go back to a 6MT. Curious if the difference in power is noticeable and/or other observations.

Would also be interested in opinions.

I have a stage 2 manual OG M2 and a stage 1 C63s coupe + a G80 manual on order (should come in 08/2024, i will sell both for the G80 and add a daily, prob a used GTI).

I never tested any G8x as there are only comp available for test drive, did a short test on a x4m (non comp) only.

Maybe not helpful as I have never owned a C63, but I've had several vehicles faster than my 6MT G82, but that have had automatic transmissions, and have learned that for ME the manual is absolutely worth the trade off. I never find myself wanting more speed or horsepower, but I enjoy the manual every time I drive the car. Everyone is different of course, but after dozens of cars owned over the past 25yrs, I am finally clear on exactly what I want and I prioritize accordingly.

Thanks for the input, the above is exactly how I feel as well.

Going to check out the M3 at my dealer this weekend!

I switched from a 2019 C63s coupe to the m4 g82. I miss my C63 every time I drive the m4. AMG gave me personally a more emotional experience because of the v8 rumble. M4 sounds like a vacuum cleaner lol. But I still like it though, it’s a great car.

Interesting! I went from a E92 M3 to the C63s AMG and the AMG experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. In 2019 onward, AMG added the particle filter to the exhaust setup and I have found the noise and exhaust very underwhelming (compared to the 2018 and below models).

Maybe not a fair comparison, but I adored the NA V8 and exhaust setup with the E92 - same goes for the W204 C63 even though I never owned one.
