A 2 year wait until the BMW Driving Experience will offer 1 day training with the M4 GT3. Passed on the last generation, but will do it this go around.

The headlamps on the mule are extras from the M8 GT cars. M8 GC First Edition has then with Laserlight added.

The next generation M8 I can see having the S58 in a hybrid configuration but not the P58. |

The GT3 kinda shows that the large grill design will allow for some serious aftermarket creativity... if that front side shows up in your rear view mirror...
dang it's like its going to shred you to pieces |

One thing I got from this video (I think) is that the rear fenders on the G82 are only marginally more flared than the F82.
That may keep me in a 4 door.

That's what I was thinking. Looking back at the concepts I think it would look better with vertical lines or something that's patterned, maybe something that matches the side grills. A front lip would be nice too. Curious to see what m performance and the aftermarket comes out with. I loved the simplicity of the m performance lip on the f8x

Not up to speed on GT3 and DTM, but it looks like this car won't have a place next year.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_GT3#Series And it should be doing that just as planned starting with the 2022 season. The proposed DTM / GT3 tie-up is really a Hail Mary pass being thrown by ITR to try to find a way to keep that race series alive. So it did not factor into BMW's plans for the M4 GT3. Therefore, it's no surprise they are not interested in taking it in that direction with a factory supported team. With Audi exiting the DTM (in factory team form) and Mercedes having exited a couple years back, BMW's continued commitment to it after 2020 was already doubtful. If they exit, which seems likely, that will leave no factory teams. However if the series does survive (which is by no means guaranteed at this point), and if they do switch to GT3 cars, it's still possible you could see the M4 GT3 entered by private teams in 2022 and beyond. |

I like the looks of the M4 but comparing it to the GT3 side by side does make it seem quite pedestrian. Can't wait to see the GT3 cars racing in a couple years time. The current GT4 cars are pretty competitive so it shows great promise!
