How easy would it be to swap out the 2025 G82 headlights with the previous laser headlights?

Things change and sometimes for the worse. If he wants to swap out inferior lights for better ones then let him. It won’t affect you in any way.

Seems to me, he wants a 2025 but does not like the lights and wants to retrofit from pre-LCI.

Probably pretty easy... only thing is once you install them pretty sure you'd have to get them programmed at a dealer.
