Dead spot in steering feel
Just received my xdrive g80 with m performance suspension, but I still have a debt spot in the center of my steering wheel. What’s the best way to get rid of that? Is there a chance the installed the suspension incorrectly?

Replacing the front thrust arm bushings with monoballs got rid of the dead zone for me. I went with Millway but there’s a few other brands.

I really doubt coding in the CS steering would void the warranty. But if you’re going to send your DME in to be unlocked it shouldn’t be a concern anyway

Is the steering sticking on center? Is this the problem?

No, he’s talking about the rack sticking on center. Having to force the wheel to one side, to overcome the wheel sticking in centerline. I’ve had this happen to a few different brands for me. Probably 2-3 of my cars have done this. Nothing on the M4. But, my 2021 Accord started doing this ever so slightly at 64k miles. Not enough to make a stink about it, but it’s slightly annoying.

Gearbox tuning is also different (which I also love) as is the differential tuning. Quote:
Not sure how this compares to last CS? |
