Looks like the M3 has nice, soft leather knee pads. Would they also fit on a rzgular 3 series? Currently it’s a hard plastic piece.

What do you mean? There are enough black wheel options. Actually, they literally offer only black, dark and some two-tone (again with a lot black parts) wheels. Not even one silver wheel option, which is very frustrating for people who don't like black/dark wheels.
I know there are options, I just mean the images could have used black wheels to show the colors more. The wheels stand out too much to me, black would have given the color more attention to stand out, as that's the point of it here. Not sure where you're located, but hoping if it's the US we get a silver wheel option for you, I'm going black but it sucks if you can't get the one you want. Fingers crossed for you!

Funny you say that. I showed the M3 pictures to my dad who's a casual observer and he immediately said it looks like an Alfa.

I think besides the depth of the grille, it's also the fact that it's frameless that makes it look like an Alfa.

Did you go "full individual" like a Verde Mantis, or something that isn't offered at all? Or did you choose from the "Individual Options" that BMW was offfering for the model? Thanks.

People's strong distaste for the car is making them grasp at straws (I may get in trouble for saying so, although I certainly don't mean any offense to the OP). Not a single similarity about the front of those two cars.

I was kind of getting used to the front but it's a new day, and with a fresh set of eyes I just find it offensive.

I see a slight resemblance. The Giulia's front is a tad over-styled and has that long grille but it's 50% as large. The G8X is in a league of its own.

I started to build one on the site and closed the window 30 seconds later. I was completely uninspired and at a loss. The X button was an easy solution for me at the time.

I went full individual, Santorini blue with custom Santorini blue stitching throughout. It was $15k for the paint and interior through the individual program.

Beautiful. I plan on doing a fire orange G80 after the lease is up on the first one, and given that BMW will eventually stop making 6MTs, ill hang onto it forever.

Ah okay, I get what you've meant. I'm in Switzerland, but I haven't seen any silver wheels so far, regardless of the country. And no pictures or any infos about silver wheels yet, so I'm afraid they really won't offer any of them, which is very disappointing. I know black/dark wheels are currently in trend (it seems especially in the USA), but I know many people who don't like black wheels and I can't understand why they don't offer even one option for them, so frustrating.

The only acceptable option could be the goldish M performance wheels, although I never intended to ever have gold wheels (but at least you see them, so you can see the stance of the car instead of a black hole in the wheel arches). But this is going to be pricey since you can't buy the car with those wheels from factory. And they are 20" front and 21" rear, pretty big and probably not that comfortable.

I know there will always be aftermarket options, but I always prefer OEM if possible.

Ah that sucks, yeah I was so caught up in my own satisfaction of the back wheel offerings I didn't notice there wasn't a full silver. Yeah the gold ones are too big, the roads in San Francisco are beyond awful, it's 3rd world level roads here in some places (Lombard street I'm looking at you) so that wouldn't work for me.
Which ones did these end up being?

These are the two-tone 825M, but also black in the inner part (the design would be quite nice apart from that).
