Thanks buddy. Have to say the car is a dream to drive.... far better than I had expected. The seats are worth every penny. The car feels so special, totally planted but without any bounce/crash, and steering is so positive. Hides its weight really well (not been on track yet) and I have to say I was a bit concerned after coming out of my Alpine A110 pure.

Congrats Tony. Look forward to some more pics as you run it in!

My mates just sold his Alpine. Lovely looking thing.

Looking forward to getting an M3C test drive myself given how well it's been received in all the reviews.

Ordered a M4 early May and it has just gone into build, anyone know how long for delivery? Dealer said late June, mid July.

Went for Skyscraper Grey and normal black seats, changed the standard wheels for Orbit Grey. Cant wait!

...are you getting the bits which are a bit of an issue currently? Enhanced B/T, wireless charging, hot spot?

Likely 6-8 weeks.

Yes, although thought those were standard in an M4

Good to hear - unavailable as an option though on other models it seems!

Yes they did, that's what peaked my interest in that colour, but wasn't sure of the wheels.

Another thing. Photos and videos do these motors no justice at all. They look immense in the flesh.

Looks absolutely tremendous. Congrats! Presumably this is RWD? So much is being written in praise right now about the xdrive that we're in danger of forgetting how grippy and capable the original rear driven version apparently is. Be interesting to hear your thoughts on its composure on the road as we now move into these colder and potentially slippy months. But anyway, I agree: pictures don't do justice. You've got to see these things in person.

I am / I have!

I've ordered the G82 M4 Comp xDrive in Tanzanite Blue, Silverstone and Black Bicolour extended leather, Orbit Grey Matt alloys, red calipers and the M Carbon Pack.

Should be ready to pick up from Dick Lovett in Bristol w/c 7th Feb 22, hopefully

I must admit to starting my journey wanting the Xdrive model, in either IOMG, OG or PB with stardard seats in KO and not bothering with the carbon extras.

My brother-in-law who works for BMW in Lincoln had this Toronto Red RWD come into stock complete with the Ultimate pack which included the carbon bucket seats and exterior carbon detailing amongst many other major key options included with the ultimate pack. A few hours with this had me signing on the dotted line.

I was so impressed with RWD capabilities that I quickly realised i didnt need the Xdrive option. Yes if it happened to have had xdrive I wouldve been happy with that too but this thing is pure joy and has everything i need performance wise. Its not a daily driver but more a weekend toy.

It wasnt that long ago that some reviewers thought the RWD they were driving was AWD it was that good.

No very very happy with it. Im always wanting to drive the thing!
