Check tire size.com. There is a big difference between 30 and 35 in the rear....

I would think that would play havoc with your traction/stability control.

Those looking for DWS, it seems the DWS is discontinued, and the DWS Plus is the new one. Tirerack says they have them in stock in OEM 19/20 sizes. I'm about to pull the trigger, but can't decide between this and going full winters this year.

The question is what do you need for whatever your typical winter snowfall is....

Finally got my 19" square setup installed on 827's and it looks awesome. What PSI are you guys running? I was thinking same as stock 19/20 setup but wanted to see if there was an official PSI for the winter 19" square setup.

I don't know if I'm going crazy, but I had them in my cart yesterday (19/20 OEM fitment). Now today they show back order. Maybe I configured it wrong and don't remember or I'm a fool for not placing the order.

I commute between Chicago and Milwaukee. We don't get a ton of snowfall compared to other parts of the Midwest, but due to my job I sometimes need to commute on roads that aren't cleared. Last year in my M5 I did this on all seasons, which was "okay", and it was very nice having the improved dry grip/sidewall stiffness compared to snow tires (had Nokian's before). So, I know I can get by with all seasons. If only I was crazy enough to have three setups, summer, all seasons, and a set of wheels with snow tires for the occasional days I'm forced to drive on uncleared roads.

I've been watching tire rack and the inventory is live...so check back in a few days and they may have stock...

Or just summers and a high-performance winter tire... Vs a hard core winter

They look SO GOOD in person.

You don't need spacers for the rears either

Are just the tires squared or did you buy new rear wheels too? Edit...just remembered the rears are 20, so must be new rears.

I live here so am running dedicated summer and winter setups on both vehicles.

On the M3 275/35-19 PA5's on 827ms (dedicated winter setup). We have a plow guy and I also have a 32" blower so I can always clear my driveway. When it's stormy I'll be using the X5 which has a dedicated setup on Wintrac Pros which perform great, even in heavy snow like in December last year. The X5 also has air suspension so I can raise the car by a few inches if I need the clearance.

If you're planning to bring the M3 up, I would think you could get away with all seasons on the stock setup, you would just need to be careful in more than a couple of inches of snow because at that point you are basically a plow.

Thanks. I figured PSAS4s will be fine. I've taken my summer tires up there for years when ground is dry and then the Land Rover for storms. Just will be nice to be able to use the better highway car for light to moderate snow situations.

Cool. Drop me a DM when you are looking to come up. My wife and I both snowboard and are always looking for new like-minded folks to ride with
