When the webpage works properly, it will be an option in the laptop browser.

Just to add to fridex's instructions

For those that can't get the info under "Add your Car", and your car is only available under "Track My BMW".

I had to get the info this way.

login to mygarage.bmwusa.com
On Chrome, go to developer mode "Hit F12 for Windows"
Go to "Track My BMW", select the Car
Go the the "Application Tab" and you should see "Session Storage", select "https://mygarage.bmwusa.com"
Then on the right tab, select "production-details"
On the tab below, drill down "Responsecontent", "DataContent", and "ProdVehicleDetails"
You will see your build info

Is there a trick to registering a vehicle? I have not received the bmw yet(early next week). The car has been registered to me and i have entered the vin, and still the site says that the vin is not recognized.

Even with the site working it's not much help. My car says at the port currently in Germany on bmw garage. In actuality my car has been at VPC in Galveston for 3 weeks ready to go with expected delivery tomorrow per Genius line.

Doesn't MyGarage flip back to at the port once the vehicle makes it to the port of entry? Essentially it should go to from "at the port" of exit (Germany) to in transit and then back to "at the port" of entry once the car arrives at it's final destination port. At least this is my takeaway from previous orders.

See for me, since i was never able to add the vehicle after typing in production number or VIN i get this in the local storage -> production-details

I believe they have finally fixed it!
I was able to add it via the VIN. No more inspecting the source code.
