I ordered from www.TPMSdirect.com. Prices were reasonable and you are able to option black valve stems.

YES. I just changed my rear spacers from 13mm to 10mm, which helped a lot, but once like every five drives I'll hear a rub. I'm running AST lowering springs. It's definitely hitting on the liner on the outside of the tire.
Good to know, thank you!

Did you order the Michelin PSAS4s and where did you ordered from? Are you getting these mounted on stock wheels?

Ordered a set of Michelin PSAS4s yesterday, from Tire Rack. Having them sent to a local service shop, and will have them installed on stock 826M wheels - once I receive my car.

I also just ordered, now would be a great time to order. Discount Tire Direct has a $110 discount on them.

Pulled the trigger and just ordered PSAS4 off tire rack and will be putting them on the stock wheels 826M (black). I have Continental DWS06 275/35/19 that I used on my F82 rear and could have used on G82 front but I can not get 285/30/20 for rears, as these are currently out of stock.

Got PSAS4 for my M4 on Monday through Discount Tire. First time trying Michelin all season tires on an AWD car, and this morning was quite interesting in Chicagoland. Perhaps it's just because they're literally brand-new with only a couple dozen miles on them (fitting to go with the couple hundred miles on the car now), but it was quite easy to slide even with the lightest throttle input.

Definitely never felt this way with DWS06 in the past, both on a B8.5 S4 and on the G30 M550i, and I'd love to figure why. Not exactly an apples-to-apples comparison, of course, as DWS06+ shortages continue.

Quattro supremacy vs. M xDrive? I recall a 60/40 rear-biased split on the S4, and I wonder if the M4 has an even steeper bias to the rear, even in standard 4WD mode and other "non-sport" settings.

Weight difference from the G30 to the G82? There's around a 400 pound difference there (although for what it's worth, the B8.5 S4 and G80/82 AWD cars seem comparable on weight, and the S4 never felt troubled by snow at all.)

Or is the PSAS4 just a distinctly "worse" tire for light snow compared to the DWS06(+). I know these aren't proper snow/winter tires, but after being spoiled by the "close enough" performance of the DWS06 on other cars, this would be quite a disappointment.

I believe tires have a break-in period of around 500 miles. So, they're likely too new to make a final judgement. I had them on two previous cars, and didn't have issues in light snow/slush. But, I'm not in Chicago!

As for the bias, I think it's a 40/60 rear wheel bias on the M3 xDrive.

I'm sure someone can confirm or correct the above info.

Just had mine mounted. Definitely seem wider than my PZero's with 10mm spacers.

They look awesome with 10 mm spacers. I am getting these installed on Monday. Have you lowered your car or is this stock height?

New tires have a break-in period and have a lube coating on them that has to wear off.

Got my Michelin AS4S yesterday at discount tire with the $110 promotion. They still had the DWS06 plus in stock. A bit worried about the comment by Leindurstit about the slipping in light snow. I havent installed them yet and have an option to cancel them and switch to DWS06 soon. Hopefully once the tire compound wears well, it should be good. Picking mine up on 12/5.

I'm less worried about it if it's an expected characteristic of brand-new tires, although the immediate need for usable traction in unpleasant weather does make for an annoying (hopefully temporary) situation while the tires break themselves in.

I don't think in all my time having swapped tires sets that I've ever had an issue like this, but just the same, I've never literally thrown brand-new tires onto a brand-new car and then immediately ran them on poor roads like I needed to last week.

Thats my concern coz I have to drive through the smokies to get back home from PCD and thats one of the key reasons I am swapping tires near PCD. So it will be a brand new car with brand new tires driving through the mountains. Making me nervous now...decisions..decisions..lol

A little update. Got the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 All Seasons installed over the weekend. It hasn’t snowed here yet but it’s definitely cold. At high speeds it feels “wobbly” and not as good as the ps4s. I’ll see how they perform in the snow and rain. Don’t mind the cheap picture. Car hasn’t been washed in over a month!
